Leucorrhea with blood after menstruation

Leucorrhea with blood after menstruation

The presence of blood in leucorrhea after menstruation is generally caused by inflammation, which is caused by uterine inflammation and gynecological diseases. Female friends need to seek timely treatment, otherwise their fertility will be affected. If there is blood in the vaginal discharge after menstruation, it is necessary to check whether the vagina is infected with bacteria. For women with IUDs, the infection may be caused by the IUD.

What is the cause of leucorrhea with blood after menstruation?

There are generally two situations in which there is blood in leucorrhea after menstruation, one is physiological leucorrhea and the other is pathological leucorrhea.

Physiological leucorrhea is sometimes caused by the placement of an intrauterine contraceptive ring, and some blood may be mixed in the leucorrhea. In addition, some women will experience ovulation bleeding during the ovulation period, also known as mid-menstrual bleeding, which refers to a small amount of bleeding between two normal menstrual periods, which may be accompanied by varying degrees of lower abdominal pain. If the symptoms are mild at this time, no treatment is required. If the bleeding is heavy or affects fertility, medication can be used for treatment.

If there is blood in the leucorrhea or it is abnormal, and there are no symptoms such as abdominal pain and fever, it must be caused by an illness. If this phenomenon occurs in postmenopausal women, it may be a precursor to a serious illness. Do not take it lightly and be sure to go to the hospital to see a doctor in time. In addition, the presence of blood in leucorrhea may indicate bleeding in the female reproductive organs. If the woman is in the reproductive period, the physiological and regular bleeding is menstruation. Otherwise, the presence of blood in leucorrhea is an important signal of the occurrence of disease.
