Ovulation mucus

Ovulation mucus

Many people experience ovulation for the first time and do not know what symptoms they will encounter during the ovulation period. Some people will experience bleeding during the ovulation period. This is a physiological manifestation of leucorrhea bleeding. Uterine bleeding cannot be ruled out, causing leucorrhea mixed with blood to flow out. The leucorrhea during the ovulation period is generally stringy and sticky, like some gel-like and transparent substance. This is a symptom often experienced during the ovulation period.

How many days does ovulation mucus last?

The situation of stringy leucorrhea during ovulation varies from person to person. Some people may have stringy leucorrhea for 1 to 2 days, some may have 3 to 5 days, or some may have no stringy phenomenon, so it is not fixed. In order to increase the chance of pregnancy, it is recommended that if the duration of pregnancy is 1 to 2 days, it is best to have sex every day. If it is 3 to 5 days, having sex every other day is sufficient.

Because the egg will survive in the fallopian tube for one to two days after being released from the ovary, waiting for fertilization, and male sperm can maintain fertilization ability in the female vagina for 2-3 days, so it is easiest to get pregnant within a few days before and after the egg is released.

Generally, when a woman's leucorrhea is at its longest, she will ovulate within 24 hours. Stringy vaginal discharge usually occurs during the follicular growth period and ovulation period. The amount of mucus reaches its peak near ovulation. After ovulation, the vaginal discharge becomes white and thick, and the amount becomes significantly less. Therefore, the day when the vaginal discharge is the largest and thinnest but has the strongest stringy ability is the peak period of ovulation, that is, the ovulation day. At this time, the leucorrhea can be stretched to 4-15cm, and it is not easy to break. It is clear, transparent, elastic, and egg white-like.

When a woman finds that her leucorrhea has stringy appearance, she can start planning to have sex, because the first day of stringy appearance is the first day of the fertile period, which means that if she has sex from that day on, she is very likely to get pregnant. Of course, the last day of drawing is the real ovulation day. You must have sex on this day, so that the chance of successful conception will be higher.

The Secret of Leucorrhea

Leucorrhea is an acidic secretion that protects the vagina from bacterial invasion. It can be regarded as a caring little guard for women! Like menstruation, it also has periodic changes! Have you found the pattern of leucorrhea being sometimes more, sometimes less, sometimes thick, sometimes thin? It turns out that the secretion of leucorrhea is related to ovarian endocrine hormones, especially cervical mucus, which also has periodic changes in quantity and quality at different stages of the menstrual cycle.

Generally speaking, the changes in leucorrhea during a menstrual cycle are as follows: more leucorrhea during ovulation and less at other times. In each menstrual cycle, a small amount of leucorrhea will appear a few days after the end of menstruation, and then gradually increase. The amount of leucorrhea is the largest during the ovulation period, and then gradually decreases until the next menstruation comes.

1. Before menstruation arrives, the ovaries mainly secrete estrogen, and the amount of leucorrhea will gradually increase. Under the action of estrogen, the amount of cervical mucus will also gradually increase, and become thinner and more translucent.

2. After menstruation, there is generally no leucorrhea secretion.

3. After the menstruation ends, the dry lower body will gradually become moist again.

4. When the ovulation period comes, the female estrogen level reaches its highest level. At this time, the amount of cervical mucus is the largest, and there will be clear mucus in the form of strips, which can be stretched into threads. When this kind of leucorrhea flows out, women have a noticeable greasy feeling.

5. After ovulation, the ovaries mainly secrete progesterone, which will organize the cervix to secrete a large amount of mucus, so the leucorrhea will be reduced and the lower body will be drier. After about 10 days, menstruation will come.

6. For some sisters, the amount of leucorrhea will increase slightly 1-2 days before menstruation. This is mainly due to the exfoliated epithelium of the vagina, uterine secretions and bacteria, rather than the sticky cervical mucus.
