Fetal movement at the pubic area

Fetal movement at the pubic area

The early stages of pregnancy can be said to be the most painful time for many pregnant women. In addition to suffering pain, they also have to feel when the baby is about to be born. Therefore, after communicating with the doctor, many people will carefully feel the changes in the position of the fetus. So, has the baby's fetal movement entered the pelvis?

The fact that the baby moves at the toes does not mean that the baby is in the pelvis. Into the pelvis means that the baby's head is fixed at the entrance of the pelvis. When the fetal head enters the pelvis, the pregnant woman will obviously feel her abdomen hardening, and may also experience some itching and abdominal pain. This is because the fetal head expands the muscles and other tissues near the pelvis during the process of birth, causing these tissues to stretch and cause the abdomen to harden.

In addition, if the baby moves into the pelvis, the pregnant woman may experience frequent urination and an increased appetite. This is because during pregnancy, the large fetus squeezes all the organs in the pregnant woman's body, causing breathing difficulties and loss of appetite. When the fetal head enters the pelvis, the fetus is about to grow out, and the discomfort of these organs in the pregnant woman's body is relieved, so it is easy for her to start to have an appetite. In addition, the fetus will be compressed to the bladder and other parts during the process of being born and descending, making the pregnant woman feel like urinating.

When the fetal head enters the pelvis, because the head has entered the pelvic space first, and this space is relatively narrow and not easy to move, the number of fetal movements will decrease, but there will still be fetal movements, and the location of the fetal movement will also change.

How long will it take for birth to occur after the fetal head enters the pelvis?

Regarding the fetal head entering the pelvis, most mothers experience it at 37-38 weeks of pregnancy, but the specific time varies from person to person, and the time of entry into the pelvis can be earlier or later. Pregnant women with their first child usually give birth 2-3 weeks after the fetal head enters the pelvis. Mothers who are trying to have a second baby will give birth faster and can do so right after the fetal head enters the pelvis.

Please note that sometimes after the fetal head enters the pelvis, the uterus will contract due to pressure on the cervix, but this does not mean that the pregnant woman will give birth immediately! After the fetal head enters the pelvis, everyone should do a good job of pregnancy check-up and prepare for delivery. The following aspects are what everyone needs to pay attention to:

1. Make good preparations before delivery. After confirming that the fetal head has entered the pelvis, you can prepare the delivery bag while contacting the hospital to prepare the hospital bed. If you are in poor physical condition or have a medical condition, it is best to be hospitalized as soon as possible.

2. Carry out pregnancy checkups regularly. Prenatal check-ups are something that all pregnant mothers must do. It is best to attend prenatal check-ups on time every week to promptly understand the details of the fetus and seek advice from the doctor. If the conditions for natural delivery are not met, a cesarean section should be performed early.

3. Pay attention to the diet before delivery. After the fetal head enters the pelvis, the mother should be careful to avoid excessive greasy food, control the intake of sugar, desserts, fat and carbohydrates to avoid malnutrition and unfavorable choice of natural delivery.

4. Maintain good cleanliness and hygiene. After the fetal head enters the pelvis, the mother should take a bath frequently and pay attention to keeping the skin and lower body clean and hygienic.
