How many times can I do ultrasound during pregnancy?

Prenatal check-ups are very necessary. Every pregnant woman is very clear about this and they all attach great importance to the items and time of each prenatal check-up. However, it is not good to have too many B-ultrasound tests, because multiple examinations will have some adverse effects on your body and may even cause signs in the fetus. Generally, B-ultrasound examinations during pregnancy should not exceed three times.

The subjects were divided into three groups according to the length of time for B-ultrasound examination: 1 minute, 3 minutes, and 10 minutes for comparative observation. The results showed that before the B-ultrasound examination, the embryos in these pregnant women were developing well; after the B-ultrasound examination, except for 5 cases with no changes at 1 minute, the villi of the remaining embryos were deformed, showing disordered cell arrangement and bubble-like structures in the cells. Further development may cause fetal malformation or miscarriage. It is obvious that the longer the embryo is exposed to ultrasound, the greater the adverse effects will be. Therefore, do not do B-ultrasound more than 3 times during pregnancy.

By measuring weight, blood pressure, uterine height, abdominal circumference, listening to fetal heart rate, etc., you can keep track of the health status of the pregnant woman and the growth and development of the fetus.

Purpose of examination: To keep abreast of the health status of pregnant women and the growth and development of the fetus.

Examination contents: measuring body weight, blood pressure, uterine height, abdominal circumference, and listening to fetal heart rate.

Price: about 5 yuan (due to price differences in different places, this price is for reference only)

Examination time: once a month from the 3rd to the 7th month of pregnancy; once every 2 weeks after the 8th month of pregnancy; once a week after the 9th month of pregnancy. If there are pregnancy diseases, follow-up examinations are required at any time.

Perinatal care examinations can be used to determine fetal age, uterine fundus height, listen to fetal heart sounds, observe fetal movements, etc.

1. Changes in appetite: Some women begin to experience changes in appetite shortly after their menstrual period (1-2 weeks). The things I used to like to eat, I no longer like to eat now. I won’t like the food I’ve eaten once the second time. Some people simply don’t want to eat or even feel like vomiting, and some people crave something sour. Generally, these symptoms will disappear naturally after half a month to a month.

2. Breast changes: In the early stages of pregnancy, the breasts will grow larger and become firmer and heavier. There will be a feeling of fullness and tingling in the breasts. The small particles on the dark yellow areola around the nipple are particularly prominent.

3. Frequent urination: In the early stages of pregnancy, many women experience frequent urination, some as often as once an hour. This is a natural phenomenon and does not require treatment.

4. Mental fatigue: In the early stages of pregnancy, many women feel tired, have no energy, and want to sleep. But this period will not last too long and will pass quickly. Generally speaking, if a woman with a normal sexual life still does not have her period one week after her menstrual cycle, she should go to the hospital to check her urine to determine whether she is pregnant.
