Chronic cervicitis with CIN1

Chronic cervicitis with CIN1

Chronic cervicitis is a more common gynecological disease. It is more common in primiparas. The specific clinical manifestations are excessive leucorrhea, which is milky white or slightly yellowish, or viscous and purulent, sometimes stubborn or mixed with blood. Generally, it is not difficult to diagnose through a gynecological examination. The main manifestations of the cervix are cervical hypertrophy, endocervicitis, endocervical glandular cysts and cervical squamous metaplasia.

Causes

It is often due to incomplete treatment of subacute cervicitis, and the pathogens hide in the cervical mucosa to cause inflammation. It is common in pregnant women who give birth, miscarriage or surgical treatment that damages the cervix, and the pathogens invade and cause infection. The main pathogens of chronic cervicitis are Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. At present, chronic cervicitis caused by mycoplasma positive and Neisseria gonorrhoeae infection is also increasing. In addition, some viral infections such as herpes simplex virus infection have also become common pathogens.

Clinical symptoms

1. Excessive leucorrhea

Sometimes it is the only symptom of chronic cervicitis. It is usually thick mucus or pus-like mucus. Sometimes secretions may contain blood or a small amount of blood, and there may also be irregular bleeding. Because the irritation of secretions can cause vulvar itching.

2. Pain

Pain often occurs in the lower abdomen or lumbosacral region, and sometimes in the upper abdomen, thighs and hip joints. It is aggravated during menstruation, defecation or sexual intercourse, especially when the inflammation spreads posteriorly along the uterine sacral tendon or spreads along the bottom of the uterine platysma tendon, causing diffuse paracervical connective tissue inflammation. The pain is even worse when the main cervical tendon enlarges and thickens. Every time the cervix is touched, it immediately causes pain in the iliac fossa and lumbosacral region. Some patients may even experience nausea and vomiting, affecting their sexual life.

3. Bladder and gastrointestinal diseases

Introverted cervicitis can spread through the lymph nodes or directly spread to the bladder triangle or the connective tissue around the bladder. Therefore, as soon as the bladder is filled with urine, there is a feeling of urination, frequent urination, urgency or difficulty urinating, but the urine is clear and the urine test is normal. In some cases, the inflammation spreads again or through the lymph nodes connecting the cervix and the bladder trigone and urethra, causing secondary urinary tract infection. Gastrointestinal symptoms are less common than bladder symptoms, and some patients experience pain during bowel movements.

4. Other symptoms

Such as irregular menstruation, menstrual pain, pelvic pressure, etc.

Chronic cervicitis is accompanied by CIN1 level. As long as there are no abnormal conditions, such as irregular vaginal bleeding or irregular bleeding, follow-up observation can be performed, with a return visit every 3 to 6 months or even once a year. Usually pay attention to keeping the vulva clean, change underwear frequently, exercise actively, and improve immunity.

However, if combined with high-risk HPV infection, it is necessary to cooperate with topical medication to help HPV turn negative. Although there is no specific medicine and the use of medicine only serves as an auxiliary treatment, there is no need to be overly anxious or worried. Most HPV infections can turn negative.
