Why do I feel pain all over my body during menstruation?

Many women will experience various uncomfortable symptoms during menstruation. For example, some women experience chest pain, and some women experience body aches. Body aches are the most common phenomenon. Although it does not cause too much impact on people's physical health, it will affect women's daily work. Body aches during menstruation also need to be taken seriously and actively checked and treated.

Why do I feel pain all over my body during menstruation?

This is a menstrual syndrome. During the menstrual period, there will be lower abdominal distension, back pain, breast tenderness, mild diarrhea, fatigue, drowsiness, emotional instability, irritability or depression. These are all normal and there is no need to be overly nervous.

During menstruation, there will be symptoms of body aches and fatigue. At this time, you should consider whether it is related to qi and blood deficiency.

Also, during menstruation, women’s immunity is relatively poor, and they are more likely to feel sleepy and sore.

Note that although back pain and other symptoms are common during menstruation, you should not knock yourself at will, as this will further congest the pelvic cavity and cause excessive menstruation or prolonged menstruation.

What to do if you have body aches during menstruation

Take vitamin E, vitamin B6, calcium every day, do appropriate physical exercise, limit salt and protein intake in the half month before menstruation, and correct water and salt imbalance. Limit spicy foods.

Don't eat sweets deliberately. Such as drinks, cakes, brown sugar, and candies. Prevent blood sugar instability and avoid aggravating various discomforts during menstruation.

Eat more high-fiber foods. Foods such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains, whole wheat bread, brown rice, and oats contain more fiber, which can promote the secretion of estrogen, increase the magnesium content in the blood, and have the effect of regulating menstruation and calming nerves.

Eat some foods rich in B vitamins such as walnuts and cashews between meals.

Get enough protein. Eat more high-protein foods such as meat, eggs, tofu, soybeans, etc. for lunch and dinner to replenish the nutrients and minerals lost during menstruation.

Regular and quantitative. It can avoid sudden rise and fall of blood sugar, reduce accelerated heartbeat, dizziness, fatigue, emotional instability and other discomforts.

Avoid caffeinated beverages. Drinks such as coffee and tea will increase anxiety and uneasiness; you can drink barley tea or mint tea instead.

Avoid eating food that is too hot, too cold, or has large temperature changes.

Women who suffer from severe blood loss should consume more high-fiber foods such as spinach, candied dates, red vegetables (vegetables with red soup), raisins, etc. to replenish blood.

Women who are about to enter menopause should consume more calcium-rich foods such as milk and dried fish.
