Can I express milk? Does this mean I'm pregnant?

Breastfeeding mothers can squeeze out milk from their breasts, and pregnant women will also secrete milk during pregnancy. However, if a girl who is not married and not pregnant finds that her breasts begin to secrete milk, she must pay attention to the fact that it is an abnormal phenomenon, so she will squeeze out milk, because the breasts will not secrete milk in the early stages of pregnancy, and will only start to secrete milk in the late stages of pregnancy.

Breastfeeding is the best way to feed a baby. The nutrients in breast milk can ensure the nutritional needs of the baby within 6 months after birth. Breast milk contains a variety of antibodies that can enhance the baby's ability to resist disease. To ensure good breastfeeding after delivery, prenatal breast care and postnatal breast massage are particularly important.

Pregnant women after 6 months of pregnancy can perform breast care. The specific methods are as follows: wash your hands and then wash both breasts separately, washing in a circular motion from the outside of the nipple to the base of the breast (under the clavicle). Avoid using soap to clean the nipple to avoid damaging the protective oil on the outer layer. After washing, hold up the breasts with your hands, and use your middle finger and index finger to massage from the base of the breast towards the nipple. Use your thumb and index finger to knead the nipple to increase its toughness.

For flat or inverted nipples, you can place the index fingers of both hands in horizontally symmetrical positions on both sides of the nipples and gently push the nipples outward, completing a circle in a clockwise direction, or pinch the nipple with the thumb and index finger and gently rotate and pull it outward, and use the other hand to open the areola for correction. Dry your breasts and expose them to air for 30 minutes to avoid postpartum nipple cracking. If a pregnant woman has signs of premature labor, she should avoid stimulating the nipples to cause uterine contractions.

Breast massage after delivery can increase blood circulation in the breasts and promote milk secretion, but pregnant women with sufficient milk supply do not need to do this massage.

1. First, use a hot towel to apply heat to the entire breast;

2. Place one hand horizontally on the other breast, and press the other hand on it. Overlap your hands and push and massage towards the center of the chest;

3. Put your fingers together and place them diagonally below the breast, vibrate the entire breast from the base of the breast, and then use both hands to push and massage the breast diagonally upwards;

4. Lift the breasts from below and push them upwards with both hands. During the above massage, both hands must hold the entire breast, and the movement should be large. If you feel the breast mass disappearing from the pectoralis major muscle, the massage is effective. However, it is strictly forbidden to knead randomly to avoid breast injury and breast pain. When the breasts become swollen and hard, massage should be stopped. If the milk secretion is excessive and the milk ducts are not unobstructed, the milk will accumulate in the mammary glands, causing the breasts to become hard and painful. At this time, you can use a breast pump to suck out the accumulated milk. Hold the entire breast with one hand, and push with your thumb from the outside toward the nipple, that is, along the direction of the mammary duct to help the milk ducts be unobstructed.

Massage is strictly prohibited when suffering from acute mastitis to avoid the spread of infection. At this time, you need to go to the hospital for treatment.
