How to prevent cesarean section wound hyperplasia?

How to prevent cesarean section wound hyperplasia?

I think every female friend will feel proud of becoming a mother from a girl, but the hardships involved are also something that many male colleagues cannot understand. In particular, cesarean section will leave a scar on the body, which is a mark that cannot be removed even if you want to. Female friends can only take some preventive measures in their lives to prevent the scar from growing again. Although current medical technology is very advanced, there is no technology that can remove this scar. So what are the methods that can inhibit the growth of cesarean section scars? Interested female friends can carefully read the introduction brought to you by the following article.

1. Choose suitable clothes.

Caesarean section scars are longer, the internal trauma is deeper, and more layers of skin need to be healed. In addition, the pregnancy and delivery period is a special period with significant changes in endocrine hormones, making the skin and body more sensitive than usual.

It is recommended to choose slightly loose and suitable clothing, and choose 100% cotton or silk materials close to the skin, especially the wound (try to avoid polyester, spandex, cashmere, wool, etc.). Please refer to the washing label for the ingredients of clothing fabrics.

2. Avoid external stimulation.

In order to regain their figure, some mothers start exercising, such as doing yoga and fitness, before the wound is completely healed. This can easily cause the wound to reopen. This is because cesarean section is different from other surgical operations. There are many layers of skin that heal. Although the wound on the surface of the abdomen has healed, the inside is still relatively fragile and can easily reopen, forming subcutaneous hyperplasia.

3. Keep it clean.

The method of cleaning cesarean section scars is very important. It is inconvenient for the mother to take a bath, so she should also pay attention to keeping the wound area moisturized and dry. However, it is best not to wash it directly with water in the early stage. I use medical cotton balls dipped in warm water and then squeeze out the water, gently wipe the scar area, then clean the area around the scar, and then throw it away (first the scar and then the surrounding area. Note that after wiping the skin around the scar with the cotton ball, you can no longer wipe the scar to prevent infection).

4. Relieve itching.

The hyperplasia of connective tissue in scars may cause some itching or even slight pain, which is normal but generally tolerable. It is not recommended to use anti-itch ointment. I use slightly cool olive oil (primary pressed olive oil is recommended) and apply it around the scar (do not apply directly on the scar) and massage slowly.

Don't pay too much attention to it. The scar will gradually fade and become lighter. Have faith in its healing ability. In the future, you can tell your baby that he/she was born from here. Face it with a good attitude.
