Women’s menstrual period is what we call menstruation, which is a regular physiological phenomenon. After menstruation, leucorrhea will be produced, which is also regular. But does leucorrhea flow out of the uterus? Strictly speaking, leucorrhea is produced from a variety of parts, including vaginal mucosal exudates, substances produced from the cervical canal, and secretions from the endometrium. Where does the vaginal discharge come from? Under normal circumstances, there is often a small amount of secretions in the female vagina, which is mainly a mixture of vaginal mucosal exudate, cervical canal, endometrium and fallopian tube secretions, called leucorrhea. Normal leucorrhea is egg white-like or white paste-like, with no fishy smell. During ovulation, the amount of leucorrhea is more and thinner, while in the later stages of menstruation, the amount of leucorrhea is less and thicker. So, what is the reason why girls have more leucorrhea? When the reproductive organs in a woman's body enter the stage of development and maturity, there will usually be a noticeable increase in vaginal discharge two to three days after ovulation. The vaginal discharge at this time will be thicker and more turbid than usual. After a few days, the vaginal discharge will slowly return to normal. This cyclical change is one of the reasons why girls have more vaginal discharge. This is a normal phenomenon and there is no need to worry. Another reason for the increase in leucorrhea is gynecological diseases. Changes in sex hormones or uterine inflammation caused by sexual activity may cause cervical erosion and increase in leucorrhea. There are also a small number of people who suffer from "congenital cervical erosion", which can also cause an increase in the amount of leucorrhea. Leucorrhea can reflect some health conditions of female friends. Normal leucorrhea is sometimes white and sometimes transparent, but it must have no odor. The amount of leucorrhea is related to a person's physique and each person's menstrual cycle. Therefore, the leucorrhea of different people cannot be compared with each other. It is most appropriate to compare it with your usual secretion. If the amount of vaginal discharge is physiological, female friends do not need to worry too much, but if it is pathological, it must be paid attention to. Usually, pathological increase in leucorrhea is caused by bacterial infection, such as vaginitis, adnexitis, cervical erosion and other gynecological diseases. |
