Can you get pregnant if you have sex before seven or eight?

If a woman has a regular menstrual cycle, the chance of getting pregnant if she has sex about a week before or after her menstrual period is very low, and this period is within the safe menstrual period. The so-called safe menstruation period generally refers to the stage when no mature follicles are discharged, unprotected intercourse occurs, there is no contraceptive method, and pregnancy is impossible. The ovulation period of a normal woman usually occurs between two menstrual periods. If you exclude the ovulation period, the rest of the time should be the range of the menstrual safety period. Therefore, 7 or 8 days before and after menstruation should be relatively safe.

However, if you have recently used contraceptives or have been stimulated by external factors or used other drugs, you cannot rule out the possibility of abnormal ovulation during the safe menstruation period. If there is no pregnancy plan, it is recommended that contraception methods should be used during sexual intercourse during the safe period to prevent accidental pregnancy.

The seven days before and eight days after menstruation refers to the safe menstrual period for women. Taking the menstrual period as the center, the first seven days of the menstrual period and the last eight days of the menstrual period are all belonged to the safe menstrual period. If the couple has sex during this time, the chance of pregnancy is relatively small. A woman's ovulation period is 14 days before her next menstrual period. It is easier to get pregnant if you have sex a few days before and after ovulation. Some women will choose to use safe period contraception, but this method of contraception is not recommended now. It is recommended to choose other contraceptive methods, such as uterine cavity placement, condoms, and emergency contraception.

The first seven days before and the last eight days after the menstruation resume in daily life are called the safe period of menstruation, and there is no need to take any contraceptive measures. However, this is not the case in actual daily life. Because the ovulation period is fixed, it is 12-16 days before the next menstrual period. If the menstrual cycle is shorter than 23 days, 8 days after the menstrual period is over is the ovulation period. It is easy to get pregnant if you have sex during this period without taking any contraceptive measures.
