Breast nodule staging

Breast nodule staging

Female breast nodules are quite common, especially for women before lactation. They will feel breast pain before each menstrual period. This is a normal physiological phenomenon. Some women will also experience frequent breast pain, which is probably caused by breast nodules. In fact, breast nodules are also divided into several stages. The following editor will give you a detailed introduction.

Breast hyperplasia can be divided into five stages:

1) Lobular hyperplasia of the breast (stage I breast hyperplasia) is the early stage of breast hyperplasia, which mostly occurs in people aged 25 to 35 years old. The symptoms are mild and it belongs to stage I breast hyperplasia.

2) Breast disease (mammary duct ectasia, stage II breast hyperplasia)

It is the further development of early breast hyperplasia, from lobular hyperplasia to mammary duct dilatation, which is called breast adenosis.

It often occurs in people aged 30 to 45, with severe symptoms, and belongs to stage II breast hyperplasia.

It is easy to attract attention, but is often difficult to cure. If it is not cured for a long time, it will cause mental depression and aggravate the symptoms.

In severe cases, it is accompanied by endocrine disorders, such as irregular menstruation, insomnia, dark complexion and other reactions.

3) Cystic hyperplasia (mammary duct ectasia combined with epithelial cell hyperplasia, stage III mammary hyperplasia)

It is a further development of stage II breast hyperplasia.

It mostly occurs between the ages of 40 and 55, and the symptoms are very severe. The malignant transformation rate of stage 3 hyperplasia is over 70%, which requires active treatment and regular examinations.

Stage III breast hyperplasia often causes mental depression and fear to patients.

4) Breast cystic disease (stage IV breast hyperplasia)

A large number of mammary duct cells and epithelial cells accumulate and die, forming cystic masses with a canceration rate of over 90%.

5) Breast cancer (stage V breast hyperplasia)

It is usually further developed from cystic hyperplasia and cysts.

Surgery is the first choice for early treatment of breast cancer, and whether to conserve the breast should be determined based on the specific circumstances.

The probability of stage I and stage II breast hyperplasia developing into breast cancer is 1% to 3%. Suffering from breast hyperplasia must be treated promptly and not allowed to develop.
