Labia pain

Labia pain

The labia is the entrance to the female vagina. The skin in the labia area is as delicate as human lips. Since women's genitals often have secretions, it is easy for bacteria to breed. Therefore, if you fail to clean your genitals in time and change your underwear frequently, it is easy for the labia area to be infected by bacteria and cause pain. Of course, too frequent sexual intercourse may also cause labia pain. Let's take a look at what causes labia pain?

Pain in the left labia and normal secretions suggest that it is caused by vulvitis, which is related to the vulva being under pressure for a long time or being in a humid and poorly breathable environment for a long time. You can take cephalexin tablets orally, wash the vulva with warm water, apply erythromycin ointment topically for treatment, keep the vulva clean and dry, and reduce friction on the vulva. Some urethritis and vaginitis will irritate the labia. Also, wearing inappropriate underwear will cause excessive friction when walking or riding a bike, which will cause pain. Unhygienic cleaning after defecation will also cause stinging. There is also vulvitis, too frequent sex, etc. You need to go to the hospital for a specific examination to confirm the diagnosis.

It is considered to be vulvar inflammation. The hot weather in summer and excessive sweating can easily cause this situation. Or it may be caused by vaginitis, increased leucorrhea, or irritation. It is recommended to go to the gynecology department for a check-up to see if you have vaginitis, and check the vulva to see if there is any redness or swelling. Then, you can use some medicine according to the situation. You should also drink more water on a regular basis.

The causes of labia pain are: bacterial infection, vaginitis, improper use of sanitary appliances, tight underwear, excessive sexual life, etc. The solutions are: 1. Wear loose underwear and change it every two days, 2. Wash the labia and surrounding areas with warm water and soap every day, 3. Use qualified sanitary napkins, 4. Have a moderate sexual life, 5. Do not eat or eat less spicy food, 6. Take ciprofloxacin to eliminate inflammation. If the above measures cannot solve the problem, go to the hospital for examination.
