Can I sleep on my right side during pregnancy?

Generally speaking, the late pregnancy is the most important period of the entire pregnancy. During this period, pregnant women must take good care of their bodies. Only in this way can the delivery go more smoothly. Even when sleeping, they need to pay more attention. Pregnant women can actually sleep on their right side, which will not affect the fetus in their belly as long as it does not put pressure on it.

In the last three months of pregnancy, the fetus grows fast and needs adequate nutrition, so the dietary principles for pregnant women at this time are:

1. Do not be picky eaters or restrict your diet;

2. Avoid excessive sweet, sour, bitter, spicy, and salty foods. Eat small meals frequently and choose foods that are easily digestible.

3. Eat more fruits and vegetables, fish, meat and eggs are essential.

Pregnant women in tropical areas like to drink soup, but they should not rely entirely on those two bowls of soup for nutrient absorption. The weight of a pregnant woman should not exceed 1 kg in a week. It is worth noting that some pregnant women are afraid that they will eat too much and the fetus will be too fat to be born. In fact, the size of the child is proportional to the pregnant woman's own conditions. It is normal for a 1.7-meter-tall pregnant woman to give birth to a 7-jin baby, but it is difficult for a 1.5-meter-tall pregnant woman. The normal range for a newborn baby is between 2.5 kg and 4 kg.

Fetal movement monitoring

After entering the late pregnancy, the intensity of fetal movement will gradually weaken, but because many pregnant women lack certain medical knowledge, they are afraid that the weakening of fetal movement is due to some problems with the child. This kind of thinking causes pregnant women to feel anxious invisibly, and this emotion is extremely detrimental to the development of the fetus. Experts say: In the late pregnancy, pregnant women should pay attention to the number of fetal movements, not the strength of the fetal movements.

Because in the late stage, the baby has grown in size and can only bend his limbs, and there is no extra space in the uterus for the fetus to move in the mother's belly. Therefore, it is normal for the fetal movement to weaken. Under normal circumstances, the average number of fetal movements in the morning, afternoon and evening is 5-10 times. Less than 5 times is abnormal. Pregnant women should feel the fetal movement in a quiet environment and relax. Of course, the late pregnancy is when the fetus is most likely to have problems. If conditions permit, fetal heart rate monitoring can be performed regularly once a week after 36 weeks of pregnancy.

Seeing red

Some pregnant women found blood stains on their underwear and thought they were about to give birth. So the whole family rushed to the hospital immediately, but the doctor said it was too early. Spotting is a precursor to labor, which usually occurs within 12-48 hours. However, if the blood is bright red and the flow exceeds the menstrual volume, it is abnormal.

From this we can see that even if you see blood but have no contractions or water breaking, you don't have to rush to the hospital.
