Why are my hands and feet itchy during the month?

Women will go through a difficult period during the confinement period, because they cannot exercise freely during this period, and they must strictly follow a diet list. Women may also experience problems with their limbs during the confinement period. Itching of hands and feet, mainly skin discomfort, makes it unbearable for many mothers. Let’s take a look at the reasons why hands and feet itch during confinement. I hope everyone can understand it.

It is considered to be allergic eczema, because a large amount of sweat will be secreted during the confinement period, and the skin is very moist, which makes eczema prone to occur. It may also be the postpartum period, which is the stage of recovery of the reproductive organs, so during this period you should pay attention to rest, do not participate in heavy physical labor, do not engage in strenuous exercise, do not have sexual life, do not take a tub bath, do vaginal irrigation or apply medicine. But you don’t need to stay in bed and stay indoors. You can go out for a walk and exercise on the ground. So you can go to the hospital for a follow-up check-up eight days after delivery.

Excessive moisture in the body can cause heaviness, eczema, itchy skin and oily skin. You can eat some foods that can be used as medicine or food, such as white lentils, coix seeds, and yam.

During the confinement period, foot pain is usually caused by problems in the heels and soles of the feet. Here are a few ways to relieve it:

1. Take a few sorghum roots and 2 duck eggs to make soup, filter out the residue, and add sugar to adjust the taste.

2. 500 grams of fresh ginger and 250 grams of brown sugar. Mash the ginger into ginger paste, dissolve the brown sugar in water, mix it with the ginger paste, and simmer it over low heat until it becomes a soup. Take one tablespoon each morning, noon, and evening for several days.

3. Put 1 slice of lean pork in shochu, boil it until hot, and apply it to the painful area.

4. Boil 30 grams of Sichuan safflower with 1 bowl of water and wine, take it twice a day.

Hand pain usually occurs in the wrist, which is called "mom's wrist". When you hold your thumb and bend your wrist toward your little finger, the inflamed tendon bursa will be pulled and cause pain. You may have mom's wrist.

Most people can relieve pain and reduce inflammation by taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs by mouth. If the above treatments cannot achieve the desired effect, local physical therapy such as heat therapy, electrotherapy, ultrasound or laser should be used in combination.
