Does it hurt to restore virginity? These are the knowledge women need to know

Today's society is very open, and few people still have a complex about the hymen. But even so, some women still choose hymen repair surgery. This operation is not very big and there will not be obvious pain, but care must be taken to avoid infection.

1. The cosmetic surgery for repairing a ruptured hymen generally takes 30 minutes. Usually, 0.1% disinfectant is used on the vulva and the female reproductive tract opening, and local infiltration anesthesia is used. Small ophthalmic scissors are used to cut a neat edge of the ruptured hymen, and then nylon thread is used to suture it carefully, leaving only a hole for a little finger to pass through the hymen. A small amount of antibiotic ointment is applied after the operation. After the operation, the vulva is cleaned with 0.1% vaginal cleansing solution every day to prevent infection. The stitches can usually be removed after five days.

2. For those who have frequent sexual intercourse and their hymen is ruptured, the operation is slightly more complicated. Sometimes it is necessary to make a labia minora mucosal flap on the side or both sides of the female reproductive tract opening to narrow the female reproductive tract opening. It is best to leave a urinary catheter for 3-5 days. Regardless of the method used during the operation, the patient will basically feel no pain. After hymen repair surgery, the hymen can usually be fully restored in one to two months. The ideal time to get married is two to three months after the operation.

3. Hymenoplasty is performed under anesthesia and is painless. Anti-inflammatory work will also be performed after the operation to ensure that no infection will occur after the operation. There is no need to rest after the operation and you can work and live normally. Bleeding may occur during the first intercourse regardless of the recovery time after hymenoplasty. The difficulty of repair is related to the severity and rupture point of the ruptured hymen. It takes one to three months to recover after the operation. It should be noted that: regular oral anti-inflammatory drugs should be taken to prevent infection after the operation, try to reduce activities within one week after the operation, do not ride a bicycle, and avoid strenuous exercise within one month after the operation.

4. It will be painful, but anesthetics can be used. Hymen repair surgery is a surgical method to restore or reconstruct the damaged hymen. Of course, it will affect the microvessels and nerve endings contained in the hymen itself. It is normal to feel pain, and there will also be bleeding. You need to take some antibiotics routinely within one week after the hymen repair surgery, wash the perineum with clean warm water every day (you can take a shower) to keep the area clean, and use disinfectant to disinfect the wound for a week to prevent infection.
