What to do for dry vagina

Women's physical health is an unavoidable issue in modern life. Due to the special structure of the female reproductive system and bad living habits of women, more and more women suffer from physical diseases, which seriously affects the health of family life. For example, the problem of vaginal dryness prevents women from having normal sexual life, which affects the relationship between couples. Let’s take a look at what examinations women should do if they have vaginal dryness?

Generally speaking, if it is vaginal dryness, then you need to consider checking the six sex hormones and whether it is caused by a lack of B vitamins. It is recommended that further examinations be performed before a better judgment can be made. To check the six sex hormone levels, it is necessary to go to a local tertiary hospital.

If the vagina is dry, it may be due to vaginal inflammation. The second consideration is that the estrogen level in the body is low. You need to do a routine examination of leucorrhea and a gynecological examination, and draw blood to test the basic hormone level in the body. It is recommended to keep the vulva clean and change underwear frequently. If the estrogen level in the body is indeed low, you can use estrogen ointment externally and increase the time for physical exercise.

It is generally recommended to go on the third day of menstruation for blood tests on an empty stomach. Some endocrine diseases can be detected through this, such as high prolactin, low progesterone, etc.

The six hormone items are the basic endocrine of women. The hormone levels can be measured by the six hormone items. The luteinizing hormone (LH) level is 2-15mIU/ml in the preovulatory period, 30-100mIU/ml in the ovulatory period, 4-10mIU/ml in the postovulatory period, and the normal value in the non-ovulatory period is 5-25mIU/ml. A level lower than 5mIU/ml indicates gonadotropin insufficiency, which is seen in Sheehan's syndrome. If high FSH is accompanied by high LH, ovarian failure is very certain and no other tests are necessary.

Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is 1.5-10mIU/ml in the preovulatory period, 8-20mIU/ml in the ovulatory period, and 2-10mIU/ml in the postovulatory period. Generally, 5 to 40 mIU/ml is considered normal. Low FSH values are seen during estrogen-progestin therapy, Sheehan's syndrome, etc.
