Can I get pregnant with dysmenorrhea?

Menstruation is a sign of female maturity, and dysmenorrhea is also inevitable for many women. If many women suffer from dysmenorrhea to a serious level, it will affect the normal function of the body. For example, many women with dysmenorrhea will have difficulty getting pregnant. In fact, dysmenorrhea is generally divided into several types, physiological and pathological. Most of the effects on pregnancy are caused by disease, and some dysmenorrhea will occur due to the influence of disease.

1. Adenomyosis: The symptoms of dysmenorrhea are severe spasmodic cramps.

2. Chronic cervicitis: Generally speaking, when the inflammation spreads along the uterosacral ligament to the pelvic cavity, it will also cause dysmenorrhea. Its main characteristics are lumbar pain, pelvic pain, etc. The pain worsens during menstruation, defecation or sexual intercourse.

3. Submucosal uterine fibroids: Since fibroids grow toward the uterine mucosa, protrude from the uterine cavity, and affect the discharge of menstrual blood, they are likely to cause abnormal contraction of the uterus and dysmenorrhea.

4. Characteristics of dysmenorrhea caused by cervical or intrauterine adhesions: Cervical or intrauterine adhesions cause poor menstrual blood flow, which induces dysmenorrhea.

5. Endometriosis: Endometriosis is generally located in the lower abdomen and lumbosacral region, and can radiate to the perineum, vagina, anus or thighs. It often starts 1-2 days before menstruation, is most severe on the first day of menstruation, then gradually subsides and disappears on its own when menstruation is over.

6. Reproductive tract malformation: Generally, there will be gradually worsening periodic lower abdominal pain, and there is a high possibility of a gradually enlarging mass in the lower abdomen.

7. Pelvic congestion syndrome: Its main characteristics are widespread chronic congestive dysmenorrhea, and there are also symptoms such as lower abdominal pain, low back pain, and menstrual breast pain.
