1.1. Change your eating habits

This is because pregnant women need to supplement the nutrition of two people by eating a lot, which can easily lead to indigestion and bloating.

1.2. Laxative

Belly bloating in pregnant women means that there is a large amount of gas in the intestines. They cannot be discharged from the body, which causes belly bloating. Therefore, pregnant women can relieve bloating by having a bowel movement.

Methods for relieving constipation: If you have constipation, you can squeeze enema or glycerin suppository into the rectum. This will expel stool and gas and reduce pressure in the colon. If defecation is unsuccessful, an anal tube can be inserted into the anus to reach the sigmoid colon to allow the gas in the intestine to be discharged from the body.

1.3. Proper massage

When intestinal motility is poor, massage can help intestinal motility and relieve abdominal bloating.

Massage method: 1 hour after a meal, lie down gently in a 45-degree semi-recumbent position. Do not massage too hard, about 4 to 6 times a day. Start from the upper right abdomen, move clockwise to the upper left abdomen, and then massage to the lower left abdomen. Remember not to massage the middle area where the uterus is.

1.4. Walking

Walking can promote gastrointestinal motility, speed up digestion, and help defecation and gas discharge. Therefore, walking is a good way to relieve bloating in pregnant women.

2. What causes bloating in pregnant women at 8 weeks?

2.1. Food is difficult to digest

Some foods are inherently difficult to digest, and bloating is common if you eat too much. For example, eating peaches, onions, cabbage, cereals, sweet potatoes, potatoes, apples and other foods often during pregnancy can also easily produce gas.

2.2. Eating too fast

Eating too fast or talking while eating can cause a lot of air to enter the abdomen, which can also cause bloating.

2.3. Sudden decrease in activity during pregnancy

Many pregnant mothers do very little activity during pregnancy, but they eat a lot, and many of the food they eat is nutritious, containing more protein and fat. Lack of exercise can also cause bloating.

3. Is bloating in the 8th week of pregnancy a sign of fetal arrest?

3.1. If the gestational sac does not develop well in the eighth week of pregnancy and there is still no fetal heartbeat, timely treatment should be sought. It can be treated through induced abortion to avoid affecting the health of women. In this case, the fetus will no longer develop.

3.2. If you experience abdominal distension at eight weeks of pregnancy, it is generally not caused by the cessation of fetal development. This is a common phenomenon, so don’t worry too much.
