In real life, pleurisy is a common disease in the human body. It is usually caused by bacterial infection or invasion of pathogens. Pleurisy is quite serious for women. It can easily lead to low fever, fatigue, cough and chest tightness. It requires timely medication and anti-inflammatory drugs can be taken for treatment. Is pleurisy serious in women? If a patient develops pleurisy, due to the different pathogens, the patient's clinical manifestations and treatment methods are different. Female pleurisy is caused by bacteria, and the patient will have clinical manifestations of cough, sputum, fever, chest pain and dyspnea. The blood routine will show that the white blood cell count is higher than normal, and the neutrophil percentage and procalcitonin will increase accordingly. At this time, the diagnosis of bacterial infection is clear and active treatment is needed, including the use of cephalosporin, penicillin, azithromycin, etc. The clinical manifestations of pleurisy caused by tuberculosis are mostly low-grade fever, weight loss, fatigue, night sweats, chest pain and other related clinical manifestations. A positive PBD test, increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and the presence of anti-tuberculosis bacilli in the pleural effusion can confirm the diagnosis. At this time, we need to use related anti-tuberculosis drugs such as Yanjing rifampicin, pyrazinamide, and streptomycin. Pleurisy, also known as pleurisy, is an inflammatory lesion that occurs in the pleural area. Patients with pleurisy often experience symptoms such as chest pain, cough, chest tightness, shortness of breath, and even difficulty breathing, which makes patients suffer. How does pleurisy occur? It is not difficult to see from its clinical symptoms that it is mainly caused by lung diseases. It can be said that pleurisy is a complication of many lung diseases. Pleurisy is an inflammatory reaction of the pleura caused by pathogenic factors such as viruses or bacteria stimulating the pleura. Therefore, any disease that can stimulate the pleura and cause an inflammatory reaction can cause pleurisy. However, the specific factors that cause different pleurisy are not the same. Today we will talk about the various causes of pleurisy. The pleura is divided into two layers. One layer is the pleura covering the surface of the lungs, called the visceral pleura, and the other layer is the pleura covering the inner side of the thorax, called the parietal pleura. The two layers of pleura together form an enclosed cavity called the pleural cavity. Under normal circumstances, the pleural cavity is completely closed, with only a small amount of serous fluid in the cavity, which has a lubricating effect and reduces the friction between the two layers of pleura during breathing. In the early stage of pleurisy, inflammation infiltrates into the cavity, and in the late stage, the two layers of pleura adhere to each other, affecting respiratory movement. The most common cause of pleurisy is pulmonary tuberculosis, and pleurisy caused by pulmonary tuberculosis is called combined pleurisy. It is more common in children and adolescents and is caused by pleural infection by tuberculosis. The pathogenesis is that Mycobacterium tuberculosis and its metabolites stimulate the pleura, causing a rapid inflammatory response. In the early stages, there is pleural congestion and edema, infiltration of a large number of inflammatory cells, shedding of pleural endothelial cells, and an increase in the content of serous fibrin. Finally, a large amount of exudate infiltrates into the pleural cavity, forming exudative pleurisy. In the late stage, the exudative inflammation is gradually absorbed, causing the two layers of pleura to adhere to each other, forming dry pleurisy. Other common lung diseases include pneumonia, lung abscess, asbestosis, etc. Pneumonia inflammation infiltrates into the pleura and can cause pleurisy. Lung abscess can directly invade or rupture and stimulate the pleura, causing pleurisy. Lesions in adjacent tissues, such as mediastinal abscess, subphrenic abscess or liver abscess, may cause the pathogenic bacteria to invade the pleural cavity through the lymphatic tissue or directly, thereby irritating the pleura and causing pleurisy. Chest trauma can also cause pleurisy. When the chest is traumatized, foreign objects such as shrapnel, clothing debris, etc. can bring pathogens into the pleural cavity, easily forming a purulent infection and causing pleurisy. |
