Will the fetal position change at 35 weeks?

The successful birth of a newborn requires the joint efforts of the baby and the mother, because the baby's situation in the mother's body is constantly changing during pregnancy. The position of the baby's head is constantly changing from embryonic development to leaving the mother's body. If the head position is not correct, it is likely to affect the smooth delivery. Generally speaking, after a certain period of time, the fetal head position will be normal. So, will the normal fetal position change at 35 weeks?

At 35 weeks of gestation, the fetus has basically completed its development. After entering the pelvis, the fetal position is basically fixed and will not change.

The head position is closely related to the development (growth) of the fetus. Because the head develops the fastest during pregnancy, the position of the fetus's head is constantly changing; 8 weeks to 11 weeks: (embryo has just developed - development is complete) the head position is relatively correct. 12 weeks (3 months) - 16 weeks: (The fetus's body and weight increase rapidly) The fetal head begins to tilt forward. 5 months (17 weeks - 20 weeks): The fetus' head tilts more forward. 7 months: The fetus' head is basically facing downwards. 9 months - 38 weeks: (The fetus has basically completed its development) The fetus' head is completely facing downwards (ready to be born).

Generally speaking, the fetal position becomes relatively fixed after entering the pelvis, which also lays the foundation for a smooth delivery in the near future. Since the baby has entered the pelvis, the pregnant mother may experience frequent urination, cervical distension and irregular uterine contractions. This is all normal. As the uterus grows and descends, it compresses the intestines and bladder. The fetal head entering the pelvis sometimes collides with the cervical opening, so there will be frequent urination, constipation and cervical distension. There is no need to worry as long as there is no labor phenomenon such as water breaking, spotting, frequent uterine contractions, etc. The most important thing is to maintain a happy mood, move around moderately, and keep your body in the best condition.
