There is something hard on my chest

Every organ in the human body is very important, and only when every organ is free of disease can the human body be healthy. However, in real life we cannot predict which organ will develop disease problems, so we should pay attention to and observe changes in our body. Women’s breasts are very important, but if you are not careful, they may cause health problems. So what's the matter with that hard thing on the chest?

Many female friends should have this feeling. They may accidentally feel that there is something in their breasts, something is there and nothing is there. If they feel carefully, they may feel something hard. So, what is the hard thing in the breast? Let's listen to the detailed introduction of the experts!

Breast pain does not necessarily mean there is a breast tumor, and even if there is a lump that can be felt in the breast, it does not necessarily mean breast cancer. Because breast cancer rarely causes pain or other obvious symptoms in the early stages, early diagnosis can only be made through breast self-examination, breast X-ray or breast ultrasound. So what are the hard parts in the breast? Experts explain that hard parts in the breast may be breast hyperplasia, because breast hyperplasia has the following symptoms:

1. Breast pain: There is swelling, tingling or dull pain in the general or bilateral breasts. Some may experience nipple pain or itching. If the pain is severe, the breasts cannot be touched. Breast pain fluctuates with mood and menstrual cycles, often aggravated before menstruation or when angry or depressed, and significantly reduced or disappears after menstruation.

2. Breast lumps: There are single or multiple lumps in one or both breasts, often located on the outer and upper part of the breast, and are nodular, granular, or linear in shape, but are more common in the form of lumps. The breast lump has unclear boundaries, medium or slightly hard texture, can be moved slightly, has no adhesion to surrounding tissues when moving, may be tender, and varies in size, some as small as sand grains, and some larger than 3-4CM. The breast lumps increase in size before menstruation and then shrink and soften after menstruation.

How to check if there is a hardness inside the breast? The correct way to check the breast is to stretch out your palm, put four fingers together, and use the most sensitive index finger, middle finger, and ring finger to gently touch the upper outer, lower outer, lower inner, and upper inner areas of the breast in order, and finally the nipple and areola area in the middle of the breast. During the examination, do not pinch the breast tissue with your fingers, otherwise you will mistake the pinched breast tissue for a lump.
