What medicine should women take for urinary tract infection

Urinary tract infection usually occurs in women, because the urethra and vagina of women are very close, so it is very likely to cause urethra infection during sexual intercourse, especially for those who have sex for the first time, they may not be able to find the vaginal opening smoothly, thinking that the urethra opening and vaginal opening are one substance, and forcing sex here will cause inflammation of the urethra opening, thus causing urinary tract infection. So what medicine is good for women with urinary tract infection?

The most common symptoms of urinary tract infection in women are urgency, frequency, pain, and discomfort when urinating, and the severity varies from patient to patient. Patients with acute urinary tract infection may have severe symptoms. Some patients with urinary tract infection also have fever, headache, and chills, which are also common symptoms of urinary tract infection; therefore, women should also pay attention to personal hygiene, especially during sexual life and menstruation. Take a bath frequently, change underwear frequently, and avoid sitting in a bath. If you sit in the bathtub while bathing, dirty water can easily seep into the urethra and cause infection.

The diet should be light, and eat more fresh vegetables, fruits and other foods rich in water. For women who have urinary tract infections due to sexual intercourse, both men and women should clean their vulva before sex, urinate once after sex, and use urine to flush the urethra to reduce the chance of infection. Cephalosporins, levofloxacin, Sanjin tablets, etc. can be used for treatment.

Urinary tract infection is caused by direct invasion of bacteria (rarely by fungi, protozoa, and viruses). Urinary tract infection is divided into upper urinary tract infection and lower urinary tract infection. Upper urinary tract infection refers to pyelonephritis, and lower urinary tract infection includes urethritis and cystitis. Pyelonephritis is divided into acute pyelonephritis and chronic pyelonephritis. It is more common in women.

You can take some anti-inflammatory drugs, but in fact the best thing is to go to the hospital for a urine culture to identify the pathogen of the infection, and do drug sensitivity testing to get sensitive drugs. This will be more targeted and less likely to cause drug-resistant bacteria due to the use of broad-spectrum antibiotics. It will be better for you in the long run. Also, many patients with urinary tract infections also have urinary tract obstruction such as stones. In this case, it will be easier to recover if the cause of the obstruction is removed, so it is best to do an ultrasound examination.

Go to the hospital to check your urine to see if there are any problems. If any problems are found, they should be treated in time. Urinary tract infection is generally treated with large doses of antibiotics for one week. Pay attention to drinking plenty of water, rest more, exercise moderately, pay attention to hygiene and cleanliness, and prevent infection. Urinary tract infection is prone to recurrence, so it is recommended that you receive systematic treatment.

It is recommended to try oral azithromycin or intravenous drip of bacitracin. If you have frequent urination, urgency and pain when urinating, you can take 654-2 tablets of antispasmodic drugs. You must drink more water to increase urine volume and flush the urethra. Avoid excessively rough and frequent sex life, eat less spicy food and alcohol. And you should quit masturbation, which may also cause infection.

It is recommended to take Sanjin tablets and levofloxacin orally for treatment. At the same time, drink plenty of water, avoid spicy and irritating foods such as leeks, onions, garlic, pepper, ginger, and avoid warm foods to avoid aggravating inflammation. Avoid the stimulation of tobacco and alcohol. Try to avoid sexual intercourse during the illness to reduce congestion of the urogenital tract and cause mutual infection. In addition to drug treatment, drink plenty of water and keep the daily urine volume above 2,000 ml, which can play the role of urinary tract flushing.
