How to treat cervical erosion?

Cervical erosion is one of the common gynecological diseases in women. After the occurrence of cervical erosion, many female friends feel that their lives are very troubled. There are many symptoms of cervical erosion. Some symptoms are physiological reactions, that is, there will be more leucorrhea, yellow leucorrhea, and leucorrhea with odor. At this time, cervical erosion must be treated in time. Faced with a variety of treatment methods for cervical erosion, people usually don’t know how to choose. So how should cervical erosion be treated better?

The best way to treat cervical erosion is of course to go to a professional hospital for treatment, and then receive treatment according to the doctor's professional advice. It should also be noted that the treatment must be thorough so that you can truly get rid of cervical erosion.

Cervical erosion is not actually true erosion. It appears red and rough due to the outward displacement of the squamous-columnar junction (medically known as cervical columnar epithelium ectopia) caused by female physiological results. At the same time, cervical erosion is not the cause of cancer, HPV is the main cause. If cervical erosion is asymptomatic, no treatment is required. If it is accompanied by increased vaginal discharge, abnormal vaginal discharge, difficulty in pregnancy, bleeding during sexual intercourse, etc., then appropriate examination and treatment are needed.

The standardized diagnosis and treatment process for cervical lesions is the "three-step" diagnostic technology, namely cytology-colposcopy-histology. Cytology is a liquid-based thin-layer cytology technique (commonly known as cervical cancer prevention smear, TCT). For the cervix, whether it is smooth or eroded, and no matter what the degree of erosion is, TCT examination should be performed routinely. If the result is normal, it only needs to be checked once a year.

If the TCT result is cervical squamous intraepithelial neoplasia, i.e. CINⅠ (or CINⅡ, CINⅢ), women should undergo a biopsy under colposcopy for pathological examination. Only if the pathological examination still indicates CINⅡ should LEEP surgery be performed. For lesions of CINⅢ or above, traditional surgical methods should be used.

Results of CINⅠ or below can be followed up for 3 to 6 months. During the observation period, conservative treatments such as cervical medication are used, and most patients will be normal after reexamination. If the follow-up is ineffective after half a year to one year, appropriate surgical treatment will be taken. In addition, pathological examination of the removed tissue should be performed routinely after LEEP surgery.

From this we can see that we should not just ignore "erosion". The occurrence of cervical cancer is closely related to HPV virus infection. Even if the eroded surface is removed, as long as you have sexual intercourse, you may continue to be exposed to the HPV virus, resulting in continued erosion and even cervical lesions. The LEEP knife can only be used twice at most. Multiple LEEP surgeries on the cervix can lead to cervical endometriosis, scar formation, adhesions and stenosis, seriously affecting women's quality of life. For those who want to have children, it can also increase the risk of premature birth, low birth weight and premature rupture of membranes.

Therefore, for patients with cervical erosion without lesions, oral Chinese medicine for clearing away heat, promoting dampness and detoxifying can be used, combined with Chinese medicine for cervical application. Clinical observations have shown that the surface of cervical erosion has been significantly reduced, the degree of erosion has been significantly alleviated, and the symptoms of yellow and sticky leucorrhea and low back pain have also been significantly alleviated.

When treating cervical erosion, not only these treatment methods are needed, but improving care in life is also part of the treatment of the disease. If you have cervical erosion, you must usually take care of the local area clean to avoid various contaminations. Therefore, it is best to wash first and then have sex when having sex. However, both husband and wife must clean before having sex.
