Is frequent urination normal after abortion?

When an unexpected pregnancy occurs, abortion is the solution many people choose. Today's abortion technology is very advanced, the whole process takes a very short time, and greatly reduces the pain suffered by patients. However, abortion surgery will have a certain impact on women's bodies, and many women experience frequent urination after the surgery. So, is frequent urination normal after abortion? Let’s take a look below.

There are two reasons for frequent urination after abortion:

On the one hand, it may be that the patient started having sex too early after the abortion. Some patients started having sex half a month after the abortion and were lucky enough to think that nothing would go wrong. A little carelessness can cause various infections. Urinary tract infections are generally caused by sexual intercourse infections, or cervical erosion and vaginitis in women.

On the other hand, women who have undergone abortions may be infected with gynecological inflammation. Generally, cervical erosion is very likely to occur after abortions. However, the initial symptoms of cervical erosion are not very obvious and often do not attract people's attention. This causes bacteria and leucorrhea to flow out of the vagina, infecting the urethra and causing urinary tract infection.

How to treat frequent urination after abortion

First of all, if you have any discomfort, you need to seek medical attention in time, go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment, identify the type of disease you have, and prescribe the right medicine according to the severity of the disease. Generally, the best treatment period for such diseases is within 1-2 months after infection. The longer the delay, the more difficult the treatment will be, and it is very likely to result in the consequence of long-term treatment not being able to be cured.

Secondly, medication should be used thoroughly according to the condition. During the treatment process, sufficient medication should be taken, the course of treatment should be complete, and the regulations should be followed; the effect should be sustained, and frequent changes of hospitals or doctors should be avoided to ensure the continuity of the treatment effect.
