Causes of an enlarged uterus

In multiparous women with chronic incomplete uterine involution, the elastic fiber tissue in the myometrium proliferates between the smooth muscles and around the blood vessels, causing uterine hypertrophy; ovarian dysfunction and continuous estrogen stimulation can cause hypertrophy of the myometrium. Clinically, patients with common functional uterine bleeding, especially those with a long course of illness, all have varying degrees of uterine enlargement; inflammation causes the proliferation of collagen fibers in the myometrium, resulting in uterine fibrosis; pelvic congestion causes the proliferation of uterine connective tissue and can also lead to uterine hypertrophy. It can be seen that not protecting the uterus well is not easy, so you still need to pay attention to it at all times.
