Why do I have brown discharge but no period?

1. If a woman has uterine hypoplasia or endometrial tuberculosis, only a small amount of endometrium will be shed, resulting in less menstrual volume.

2. Generally, many women have experienced abortion, especially after multiple artificial abortions and curettage, which leads to endometrial trauma and adhesions in the uterine cavity. In mild cases, the menstruation is scanty, and in severe cases, amenorrhea may occur.

3. If a woman has ovarian hypoplasia, systemic diseases, or long-term use of hormonal contraceptives and other factors, the normal function of the ovaries will be inhibited, resulting in a decrease or insufficient level of hormone secretion from the ovaries, which will ultimately lead to decreased menstruation.

4. Some women lose weight excessively. Generally speaking, whether or not menstruation occurs is related to the amount of fat. Menstruation will only occur when the amount of fat reaches a certain limit. If women lose weight excessively, it will lead to irregular menstruation and even amenorrhea.

What to do if you have brown discharge but no menstruation

1. Regulate emotions. Keep a good mood and avoid worry, depression and anger, which can damage the liver and spleen, or excessive emotions, which can turn the five desires into fire and disturb the Chong and Ren meridians, causing menstrual diseases.

2. Proper work and rest. You should actively engage in labor (physical and mental labor), but avoid overwork and strenuous exercise, as this can easily damage your spleen and lead to menstrual diseases caused by dysfunction of control or biochemical deficiencies.

3. Adjust the temperature according to the changes in climate and environment, add or reduce clothes and quilts appropriately, and avoid keeping the room too cold or too cold to avoid attracting external evil, damaging blood and qi, and causing menstrual diseases.

3. Eat in moderation. It is important to pay attention to eating at regular times and in regular amounts. It is not advisable to overeat or consume excessive amounts of fatty, greasy, raw, cold, spicy, and dry foods, so as to avoid damaging the spleen and stomach and causing biochemical deficiencies, or accumulating dampness to produce phlegm, or cooling or burning blood, which may cause menstrual disorders.
