Breast pain 7 months pregnant

Breast pain 7 months pregnant

When the pregnancy reaches seven months, the belly has become very large. At this time, you can only lie down or sit most of the time, because the big belly makes it inconvenient to move, and excessive exercise will also cause stomach discomfort. When the pregnancy reaches seven months, you should just wait for delivery, but at this time many pregnant women will experience breast pain. Breast pain depends on the factors causing it.

Is breast pain normal during pregnancy?

During pregnancy, if you find symptoms such as acute redness, swelling, heat and pain in the breasts, bloody nipple secretions, nipple cracks and skin ulcers, you should seek medical attention immediately for diagnosis. Breast disease during pregnancy should not be taken lightly.

From the moment the fertilized egg implants, the breasts change accordingly as hormones in the body change. This is a function that nature has given to humans to adapt to the need of breastfeeding after childbirth. At the same time, the degree of breast development during pregnancy also determines the amount of milk secreted.

Entering the second month of pregnancy, the breasts gradually swell and become very soft, and due to the hypertrophy of the mammary glands, lump-like masses appear in the breasts. Next, the blood vessels under the skin of the breast become visible. The nipples will gradually become larger, the color of the areola will become darker due to the increase in pigmentation, and the protrusion of the nipples will become obvious.

Throughout pregnancy, your breasts continue to grow, doubling to tripling in size. The breasts may feel swollen or painful, but the pain will gradually disappear. If it is uncomfortable, you can use hot compresses and massage to relieve it. After 5 months of pregnancy, squeezing the breasts can produce thin colostrum. At this time, you should pay attention to the cleanliness of the nipples.

Pregnant women breast care

1. Scrub the areola and nipple skin frequently with mild soapy water, and clean the skin folds. This not only keeps the breasts clean, but also makes the skin gradually become strong and wear-resistant, so that it can withstand the baby's sucking in the future.

2. Massage your breasts correctly after bathing. After cleaning the areola and nipples each time, cover the breasts with a hot towel and press gently with your hands. After wiping the breasts clean, sprinkle some talcum powder on them and use your powdered fingers to gently massage the breasts from the inside to the outside. Use the pads of your fingers to gently massage in circular motions around your breasts. Gently press your breasts and massage gently from all sides towards the nipples. Press the edge of the areola with your thumb and index finger, and then squeeze gently with two fingers.

3. When sleeping, pay attention to adopting an appropriate sleeping position, preferably lying on your side or on your back. The prone position can easily squeeze the breasts, causing blood circulation to become obstructed, and failing to ensure the delivery of hormones that promote breast development, thus affecting breast development.

4. Pregnant women with smaller breasts should not use breast enlargement cream during pregnancy. Pregnant women with larger breasts should never use slimming creams. Both of these products contain certain sex hormones, and random use will affect the normal development of the breast.
