Symptoms of threatened miscarriage in early pregnancy

Symptoms of threatened miscarriage in early pregnancy

In the early stages of a woman's pregnancy, the fetal position is not particularly stable, so there is a high probability of threatened miscarriage. The most obvious manifestation of a girl's threatened miscarriage is bleeding below. At this time, even if you see a doctor, you can still save the fetus. However, if the miscarriage is caused by threatened miscarriage, it is particularly easy to cause habitual miscarriage. So what are the symptoms of threatened miscarriage in early pregnancy?

1. What are the symptoms of threatened abortion?

Threatened abortion is the initial stage of abortion, which can last for a few days or 1 to 2 weeks, with a small amount of vaginal bleeding and mild lower abdominal pain. In the late stage of threatened abortion, there may be paroxysmal abdominal pain. The main manifestation of early threatened abortion is early pregnancy reaction after a period of amenorrhea, followed by vaginal bleeding with a small amount of red blood, which lasts for several days or weeks and is painless or with mild lower abdominal pain, accompanied by back pain and a feeling of falling. Gynecological examination shows that the cervix is closed and the size of the uterus is consistent with the month of amenorrhea. After treatment and rest, if the fetus is alive, the pregnancy can generally continue.

1. Vaginal bleeding. Vaginal bleeding can be divided into light bleeding and heavy bleeding, continuous bleeding and irregular bleeding. If vaginal bleeding occurs during the first three months of pregnancy, you should seek medical attention immediately, especially if the vaginal bleeding is accompanied by pain, which requires special attention because it may be a sign of miscarriage.

2. Pain. There may be persistent pain in the pelvis, abdomen, or lower back. Once vaginal bleeding symptoms appear, pain may begin a few hours or days later.

3. Vaginal blood clots. Vaginal discharge of blood or grayish tissue.

What is the cause of threatened abortion?

1. Incomplete embryonic development: Abnormal fertilized eggs are the main cause of early miscarriage. About 80% of miscarriages in the first two months of pregnancy are due to some defects in sperm and eggs, which cause the embryo to terminate its development to a certain extent.

2. Endocrine dysfunction: The fertilized egg can only implant on the uterine wall and grow into a fetus under the action of progesterone. When the body does not secrete enough progesterone, the uterine decidua will develop poorly, thus affecting the development of the fertilized egg and easily causing miscarriage.

3. Systemic diseases of pregnant women: When pregnant women suffer from acute infectious diseases such as influenza, typhoid fever, pneumonia, etc., bacterial toxins or viruses enter the fetus through the placenta, causing fetal poisoning and death. High fever can promote uterine contractions and cause miscarriage. Pregnant women suffering from chronic diseases such as severe anemia, heart failure, chronic nephritis and hypertension may suffer fetal disability and miscarriage due to placental infarction and intrauterine hypoxia. Malnutrition of pregnant women, especially vitamin deficiency, as well as mercury, lead and alcohol poisoning can cause miscarriage.

4. Reproductive organ diseases: relaxation of the internal os of the uterus or deep lacerations of the cervix can cause premature rupture of membranes and late miscarriage.

5. Placental maldevelopment: The fetus grows and develops in the mother's body, and the mother's nutrients and oxygen are mainly transported to the fetus through the placenta. If the placenta is maldeveloped or diseased, the fetus will not get nutrients and oxygen and will stop growing, causing miscarriage.

6. Incompatibility of blood types between mother and child: If the pregnant woman has received blood transfusions in the past, or if coagulant factors that are incompatible with her blood type are produced during pregnancy, the fetus's cells will agglutinate and hemolyze, thus causing miscarriage.
