What is intrauterine bleeding during pregnancy?

A woman's body changes dramatically after pregnancy. Of course, she must pay attention to taking care of her body during pregnancy, especially in terms of diet and lifestyle. Some women also experience symptoms of intrauterine bleeding due to physical reasons. Physical constitution is not an absolute factor causing intrauterine bleeding, but it has a huge impact on both the mother and the fetus, so timely measures should be taken. So what is intrauterine bleeding during pregnancy?

1. Progesterone deficiency: When pregnancy just begins, the ovaries will form a corpus luteum to maintain the supply of nutrients. After 3 months, the placenta slowly forms, so the corpus luteum no longer needs to work. However, before the placenta is formed, progesterone deficiency is very likely to occur, and bleeding will occur. Therefore, expectant mothers need to supplement more natural progesterone.

2. Ectopic pregnancy Ectopic pregnancy refers to the embryonic sac not implanting in the uterus, but implanting outside the uterus. If the conceptus implants outside the uterine cavity, the embryo cannot grow normally, the ratio of estrogen and progesterone in the body changes, causing the decidua to separate, and bleeding will occur. If an ectopic pregnancy occurs, it is best to deal with it as soon as possible, otherwise it will become more dangerous when the embryo grows larger. Some people even die from heavy bleeding due to rupture of ectopic pregnancy.

3. Cervical disease. In addition to factors related to the embryo itself, problems with early pregnancy bleeding may also occur in the cervix. Severe inflammation of the cervix leads to erosion, or cervical polyps already exist before pregnancy. After having a baby, hormonal changes will cause surface capillaries to rupture and bleed. Therefore, before having a baby, you should have regular cervical examinations to prevent vaginal bleeding caused by cervical problems during pregnancy. 4. If the embryo itself has defects, the embryo will stop developing after a period of time, and miscarriage will occur. Natural miscarriage cannot be avoided. If this happens, you must let a doctor deal with it and clean up the residues in the uterine cavity. 5. External factors: When you are just pregnant, there is a certain possibility of causing a small amount of vaginal bleeding due to external factors such as lifting heavy objects, high pressure, and sexual intercourse. At this time, it is best to lie in bed and rest.
