Causes of fallopian tube obstruction in second pregnancy

Causes of fallopian tube obstruction in second pregnancy

Since the country opened up the two-child policy, there will be more and more children in our country, and the plan to save the aging population can be quickly realized. But it is also for this reason that many women find that their fallopian tubes are blocked when they want a second child. It may be that they were damaged during the delivery of the first child. They should actively carry out unblocking treatment. So what is the reason for the blockage of the fallopian tubes of the second child?

Tubal infertility

The fallopian tube is an important component of the female reproductive system. It plays an important role in transporting sperm, taking in eggs and transporting fertilized eggs to the uterine cavity. Due to insufficient egg production from the ovaries, the fallopian tubes show abnormal conditions such as adhesion, blockage, and poor flow, which lead to women's infertility. This is collectively called tubal infertility.

How to self-diagnose whether the fallopian tube is blocked?

First of all, the most common one is dysmenorrhea. This is because pelvic congestion leads to congestion-induced dysmenorrhea. Most of the time, the abdominal pain starts one week before the menstrual period. The pain becomes more severe as the menstrual period approaches, and it gets better until the menstrual period comes.

Secondly, it is very likely that you will have frequent menstruation and heavy menstrual flow. A gynecologist at Guangzhou New Era Hospital pointed out that the fallopian tubes are adjacent to the ovaries. Generally, diseases of the fallopian tubes do not affect the function of the ovaries or the amount of menstrual flow. Menstrual abnormalities only occur when inflammation spreads to the ovaries and damages ovarian function. The most common symptoms are frequent menstruation and excessive menstrual flow, which may be the result of pelvic congestion and ovarian dysfunction. Excessive menstruation can be caused by uterine fibrosis due to chronic inflammation, abnormal uterine position due to incomplete uterine involution or adhesions.

Third, lower abdominal discomfort. There are varying degrees of pain in the lower abdomen, mostly hidden discomfort, soreness, swelling and a feeling of heaviness in the lower back, back and sacrum. Due to pelvic adhesions, there may be pain when the bladder or rectum is filled or empty, or other symptoms of bladder and rectal irritation, such as frequent urination.

Other symptoms caused by fallopian tube obstruction include increased vaginal discharge, pain during sexual intercourse, gastrointestinal disorders, fatigue, neuropsychiatric symptoms and depression.

So, here is a reminder for mothers who are preparing to have a second child:

Be sure to take good care of your body and prevent fallopian tube infections, because various inflammations are the main cause of fallopian tube blockage!

It is extremely important to pay attention to the cleanliness of the reproductive system and prevent infection from various pathogens (especially sexually transmitted diseases)!

Before you prepare for pregnancy, you must go to the hospital for a physical examination to see if there are any problems. According to the doctor's advice, you can improve your physical condition in a planned way to ensure the good birth and upbringing of your second child!

For families with a second child, we hope that parents can communicate more with the first child and provide correct guidance, which will help to establish proper family relationships.
