Will there be bleeding after the fallopian tube is pierced?

When a woman's fallopian tube is blocked, it needs to be unblocked immediately, otherwise it will affect her normal ovulation. In addition, when the fallopian tube is blocked, the woman will also feel pain in the lower abdomen. When a man and a woman have sex, the man's sperm cannot enter the woman's fertilized egg. However, unblocking the fallopian tube will also cause abdominal pain in women. So will there be bleeding after unblocking the fallopian tube?

What are the dangers of fallopian tube obstruction?

1. Infertility

Fallopian tube blockage is a common disease in female infertility with a high incidence rate, accounting for about 50% of female infertility. The fallopian tube is the place where sperm and egg combine. Once the fallopian tube is blocked, the sperm and egg cannot combine into a fertilized egg, which will lead to female infertility.

2. Ectopic pregnancy

When the fallopian tube is narrowed and blocked, it will be difficult for the fertilized egg to move inside the fallopian tube. Since the location of the blockage and narrowing of the fallopian tube is different for each patient, the fertilized egg may implant in other parts outside the uterine cavity, leading to an ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy usually occurs when the fallopian tubes are obstructed or tortuous. Once an ectopic pregnancy occurs, in mild cases the fallopian tubes may be completely blocked, and in severe cases, heavy bleeding may occur, threatening the patient's life.

3. Inflammation

Fallopian tube blockage is mostly caused by inflammation of the reproductive system. After fallopian tube blockage occurs, the inflammation may spread to other parts and cause inflammation in other parts.

4. Others

Such as abdominal discomfort, frequent urination, painful urination, constipation, diarrhea, and it can also cause menstrual irregularities, dysmenorrhea, painful sexual intercourse, and vaginal bleeding in women.

Common tests for blocked fallopian tubes

(1) Fallopian tube insufflation under B-ultrasound monitoring: Ultrasound diagnosis causes little damage to the human body and can be repeated, making the diagnosis rapid and accurate. However, due to the significant influence of factors such as intestinal gas and poor contrast of pelvic tissue, the clinical diagnostic value is low, and there is a possibility that gas will enter the blood circulation, causing serious gas embolism and endangering the patient's life.

(2) Hydrotubation examination: It has the advantages of simple equipment, easy operation and low price. Hydrotubation is only a preliminary screening method to evaluate the patency of the fallopian tubes, and its correct diagnosis rate for whether the fallopian tubes are patency is poor.

(3) Hysteroscopy: This is a method used to understand the internal conditions of the uterine cavity, but it cannot understand the conditions outside the uterine cavity.

(4) Hysterosalpingography: Hysterosalpingography is a commonly used gynecological examination item. It is mainly based on X-ray hysterosalpingography. It is a method of injecting contrast agent into the uterine cavity and fallopian tubes through a catheter, and using X-ray diagnostic equipment to perform X-ray fluoroscopy and filming. Based on the development of contrast agent in the fallopian tube and pelvic cavity, it is used to understand whether the fallopian tube is unobstructed, the location of obstruction and the morphology of the uterine cavity.

Is it painful to get a blocked fallopian tube test?

Taking hysterosalpingography as an example, there will be no pain during hysterosalpingography, but some patients may feel slight pain. If the fallopian tubes are unobstructed, the patient being examined generally will not experience any pain. If the fallopian tubes are blocked, the patient being examined will experience varying degrees of pain, so this issue varies from person to person.
