What to do if the fallopian tube is completely blocked

Some women may have blocked fallopian tubes. There are many reasons for blocked fallopian tubes, and when the fallopian tubes are completely blocked, women may become infertile. Therefore, women must actively seek treatment, especially for those who are still preparing for pregnancy. They must clear the fallopian tubes. So what should we do if the fallopian tubes are completely blocked?

Fallopian tube obstruction is mostly caused by inflammation, and its basic cause is mostly infection, including general bacterial infection and special pathogen infection, such as Chlamydia trachomatis, Ureaplasma urealyticum, Mycoplasma hominis, protozoa, etc. According to the location, it is divided into proximal fallopian tube obstruction, mid-fallopian tube obstruction and distal fallopian tube obstruction. The degree of blockage is divided into incomplete tubal obstruction and complete tubal obstruction.

There are many treatment options for fallopian tube obstruction, such as medication and physical therapy. After the fallopian tubes are cleared through triple therapy, guidewire therapy, soft wire therapy, hysteroscopic surgery, etc., specialized drugs are used to restore the cilia swinging function of the fallopian tubes. It is possible to conceive under the help and guidance of a doctor. Regardless of which treatment method is used, the normal function of the fallopian tubes must be restored before pregnancy can be possible. However, the treatment method depends on the location and degree of fallopian tube obstruction.

Infertility caused by inflammation of the fallopian tubes, which leads to blockage of the fallopian tubes and the inability of sperm to pass through to meet the egg, is called tubal obstructive infertility. The fallopian tube is divided into four parts from the inside to the outside based on its morphology: interstitial part, isthmus, ampulla, and fimbria. Clinically, 80% of infertility patients are caused by fallopian tube factors. Fallopian tube obstruction is often caused by adhesion, congestion, edema of the fallopian tube wall due to artificial abortion, spontaneous abortion, medical abortion, induced labor, unclean sexual intercourse, pelvic infection, etc., which leads to blockage, resulting in the inability of sperm and egg to combine, and ultimately leading to infertility.

There are many causes of fallopian tube problems, and each person's condition is different. It is recommended to go to a regular professional infertility hospital for relevant examinations to find out the specific cause and conduct scientific and targeted conditioning treatment.
