Light bleeding during early pregnancy

Light bleeding during early pregnancy

In the early stages of pregnancy, there will be symptoms of a small amount of bleeding, which happens to many pregnant women, so if it happens to you, you don’t need to worry too much. The most important thing at this time is to adjust your life rhythm and emotions, and not let your emotions fluctuate too much. You should also eat more nutritious foods, which is better for your body.

2. Pregnancy test

HCG secreted by the blastocyst trophoblast cells after pregnancy can be measured in the blood and urine of pregnant women. Determining whether HCG is present in the body of the subject is called a pregnancy test. In addition to determining whether a woman is pregnant, this test is also important for the diagnosis of hydatidiform mole and choriocarcinoma.

3. Cervical smear cytology and cervical biopsy

(1) Cervical smear cytology examination: It is the main method for detecting cervical precancerous lesions and early cervical cancer. If suspicious cancer cells or cancer cells are seen in the smear, a cervical biopsy must be performed.

(2) Cervical biopsy: The single-point clamping method is suitable for typical lesions. The clamping site is selected at the obvious lesion or at the junction of the cervical squamous-columnar epithelium.

4. Diagnostic curettage

Endometrial scraping for pathological examination to confirm the diagnosis. During the curettage, attention should be paid to the size and shape of the uterine cavity, whether the uterine wall is uneven, and the amount of scrapings.

(III) Equipment inspection

1. Hysteroscopy: It is one of the important methods for diagnosing uterine lesions. It can not only directly observe the morphology of the lesions, but also serve as an indication for biopsy or curettage. It has diagnostic value for bleeding caused by endometrial hyperplasia, polyps, submucosal myomas, endometrial tuberculosis and early endometrial cancer.

2. Laparoscopic examination: It can directly observe the morphology and location of the lesions and take biopsy if necessary. It has auxiliary diagnostic significance for pelvic inflammation, tumors, ectopic pregnancy and endometriosis, which are difficult to diagnose.

3. Colposcopy: Using a colposcopy to examine cervical lesions can observe tiny changes in the cervical epidermis that are invisible to the naked eye. It can find cancer-related atypical epithelium and atypical blood vessels, which helps to detect the location of cancer early so as to accurately select suspicious areas for biopsy. It is a powerful auxiliary method for diagnosing early cervical cancer.

4. Ultrasound examination: Pelvic B-type ultrasound examination can understand the size, shape and internal structure of the uterus and ovaries, and is of great value in diagnosing uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, ovarian tumors, early pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy and hydatidiform mole.
