When the body's estrogen secretion increases, a small amount of brown discharge will occur during the menstrual period, but the bleeding time will not be long and there will not be obvious abdominal pain. According to the blood test, the HCG and progesterone values ​​are within the normal range and no special treatment is required in this case.

If brown discharge appears in early pregnancy, you need to pay attention to check whether there is any abdominal pain. Abdominal pain should first rule out threatened abortion and you should go to the hospital immediately to test the progesterone level in the blood. If the progesterone level is low, it indicates a sign of miscarriage and you should promptly adopt tocolytic treatment, which can be taken orally or by intramuscular injection of corpus progesterone copper. Brown discharge may also occur during the implantation period. If the progesterone level is not low, it is a normal phenomenon and does not require special treatment.
