How to check gonococci in gynecology

Routine examination of leucorrhea is an essential part of gynecological examination. By examining the secretions, it is possible to determine whether there are any abnormalities in the uterus or cervix, or whether there is gynecological inflammation. If it is impossible to make an accurate diagnosis by checking for chlamydia through routine leucorrhea examination, chlamydia can be confirmed by checking cervical smear, which is currently the best method for checking chlamydia.

Under normal circumstances, routine examination of leucorrhea cannot distinguish chlamydia infection. It can only detect Trichomonas fungi or bacterial vaginitis. Therefore, if you want to check whether you have chlamydia during the physical examination, you need to go to the hospital for examination. At this time, remind the patient. After arriving at the hospital, the doctor will suggest that you should do a cervical secretion examination, acid-fast staining, Gram staining examination or cervical secretion pattern examination. These examination items are all good ways to check chlamydia. In terms of examination time, it is necessary to make an in-depth analysis based on the patient's condition. There is no need to be too anxious. After a period of analysis and examination, the condition can be accurately identified.

Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative diplococci mean chlamydia, and although routine leucorrhea examination cannot detect the disease, there are many ways to distinguish the disease at other levels. Patients do not need to worry too much in the early stages. Whether it is bacterial infection or viral infection, as long as the method of use is appropriate, it can help patients identify the condition. If the body is indeed infected with chlamydia, we can treat the condition through medication or daily medical care.

Of course, the specific treatment plan needs to be consulted at the local hospital. I would like to remind everyone that during the treatment period after suffering from this disease, it is best not to have any sexual intercourse to avoid cross infection.

Although a small amount of chlamydia can be detected in secretions, it cannot completely determine whether the formation of chlamydia is related to secretions. It may be a substance carried out by the human body. It still requires detailed analysis to clarify the condition. Moreover, chlamydia is an infectious reproductive disease, and we must pay great attention to this type of urinary system disease to prevent more serious infections.

Key test methods for gonorrhea

1. Shaping inspection

Chlamydia trachoma testing is the key evidence for diagnosis. The testing method is a more sensitive method for male and female patients with mild symptoms or no symptoms. As long as the testing is positive, the diagnosis can be made.

2. Acid-fast staining test

Take the patient's urethral secretions, perform Gram staining, and look for Gram-negative diplococci in the multi-component supercooled white blood cell count. The detection rate of acid-fast staining for patients with simple gonorrhea with a lot of purulent secretions is around 90%. For patients with chronic gonorrhea who have less secretion, the detection rate is low, so massage of prostatic fluid is needed to improve the diagnosis rate.

3. Antigen test

There are two types. One is the solid-phase enzyme immunity test, which can be used to detect chlamydia antigens in clinical medical specimen collection. The second is the immediate immunofluorescence test: an immediate immunofluorescence test is performed based on the monoclonal antibody against Chlamydia outer membrane protein I. The former can be used to diagnose chlamydia infection in women, while the latter test cannot yet be recommended.
