1. Ovulation bleeding

When brown discharge occurs outside of menstruation, if it occurs a few days after the end of menstruation, we can determine that it is caused by ovulation bleeding, because during ovulation, part of the endometrium will fall off, causing vaginal bleeding and producing brown discharge. This is a normal physiological phenomenon.

2. Vaginitis

Another possible reason for brown discharge during ovulation is that you may have vaginitis. Vaginitis can irritate the vaginal mucosa. Damage to the mucosa can cause brown discharge during ovulation.

3. Threatened abortion

If you find that your period is late this month, but you keep having brown discharge, you should pay attention to it, as this situation may be related to threatened miscarriage. If this situation persists for a long time, please go to the hospital for examination in time.
