What does p positive mean?

Everyone has a different physique, so naturally their physical condition will be different. Some people find that their urine test is positive for p during a physical examination, and they are very worried that there is something wrong with their body. In fact, a positive p does not mean that there must be something wrong with the body. If it is just a positive urine test, it may mean that you are pregnant. If you want to be more certain, you still need to do further examinations, pay attention to rest in your life, and develop good living habits and routines.

If an ectopic pregnancy is discovered early and has not ruptured, conservative treatment can be used. Conservative treatment mainly involves the use of embryocidal drugs to terminate pregnancy. Then use Chinese medicine that has the effect of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis to promote the absorption of the mass.

It is recommended that patients who receive conservative treatment for ectopic pregnancy need to be hospitalized and receive treatment and examination under the close observation of doctors and nurses. If conservative treatment fails, surgical treatment is still required.

1. pH can reflect the acid-base balance in the body and the regulatory function of the kidneys. Decreased: seen in diabetes, gout, acidosis, chronic glomerulonephritis, etc. Increased: seen in frequent vomiting, urinary tract infection, taking bicarbonate drugs, and alkali poisoning.

2. Occult blood positive: seen in urinary system stones, infection, tumors, acute and chronic nephritis, thrombocytopenic purpura, hemophilia, etc.

3. Protein positive: seen in various glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, renal insufficiency, and ingestion of drugs (such as quinine), phosphates, and disinfectants. When the urine pH is greater than 8, a false positive result may occur in the urine protein test. False negatives may occur if large amounts of penicillin are ingested and the urine pH is less than 4.

4. Glucose positive: seen in diabetes, hyperthyroidism, late pregnancy, etc. Ingestion of strong oxidizing drugs may cause false positives. Taking more than 500 mg/L of vitamin C may cause false negatives.

5. Ketone body positive: seen in patients with diabetic ketoacidosis, long-term hunger, hyperemesis gravidarum, and those taking drugs such as L-dopa and methyldopa.

6. Bilirubin positive: seen in hepatocellular or obstructive jaundice. False positives may occur if drugs such as phenothiazines are ingested. False negatives may occur if the intake of vitamin C exceeds 500 mg/L, nitrites, or large amounts of chlorpromazine.

7. Positive urobilinogen: seen in hemolytic or hepatocellular jaundice. Negative in obstructive jaundice. False positives may occur if sulfonamides, vitamin K, phenothiazines, etc. are ingested. Ingestion of nitrites and para-aminosalicylic acid may result in a false negative.
