Sudden weight gain during ovulation

Sudden weight gain during ovulation

Female friends should all know that the ovulation period is the best time for you to conceive, but there will be no sudden weight gain during the ovulation period. Sudden weight gain may be because you are pregnant, but you are not pregnant during ovulation. It will only lead to symptoms such as decreased appetite and increased energy. Now let’s take a look at the changes in weight during ovulation and the various symptoms that may occur.

Will I gain weight during ovulation?

1. The ovulation period is when women ovulate. At this time, the body's resistance will decrease, which can easily lead to abnormalities in the body. However, there is no major impact between the ovulation period and weight. There will be changes in body temperature during the ovulation period, which may cause the body temperature to rise, but the weight generally will not change. Many people will also experience edema, which will lead to weight gain. After the ovulation period, it will return to normal.

2. Decreased appetite: Studies have shown that women eat the least during their ovulation period. Experts point out that this is the result of human natural instincts that have been preserved to this day - female animals during ovulation will focus more on finding the opposite sex for mating rather than finding food.

3. Energetic: This is also a natural instinct inherited from humans. In order to successfully attract the opposite sex, women during ovulation will become energetic and love to express themselves.

4. Increased sexual desire: Generally speaking, women’s sexual desire will be particularly strong during their ovulation period, which is a reflection of the fact that the body’s signal that women want to get pregnant has reached its highest level.

5. Decreased resistance: During ovulation, women's vaginal mucus becomes thinner, which allows sperm to pass more easily and increases the chance of successful conception. At the same time, women's nasal mucus also decreases, which increases the chance of bacteria invading the human circulatory system.

How to calculate ovulation period

How to calculate ovulation period:

For normal menstrual cycles: for example, taking a 30-day menstrual cycle as an example, the first day of this menstruation is September 29, then the next menstruation will be on October 29 (September 29 plus 30 days), and then subtract 14 days from October 29, then October 15 is the ovulation day. The ovulation day and the 5 days before and 4 days after, that is, the ten days from October 10th to 19th are the ovulation period.

To calculate the ovulation period using this method, you must first know the length of your menstrual cycle, that is, you must have a very normal or regular menstrual cycle, in order to calculate the start date of the next menstrual period and then the ovulation period. Therefore, this method is only suitable for women with normal menstrual cycles. If the menstrual cycle is irregular or abnormal, it is impossible to calculate the date of the next menstrual period, so it is impossible to calculate the ovulation day and ovulation period.

If the menstruation is irregular, the formula for calculating the ovulation period is: the first day of ovulation = the number of days in the shortest menstrual cycle minus 18 days. The last day of ovulation = the longest menstrual cycle minus 11 days.

For example, the shortest menstrual period is 28 days and the longest is 37 days. The shortest regular period is subtracted by 18 (28-18=10) and the longest regular period is subtracted by 11 (37-11=26). Therefore, the ovulation period is from the 10th day to the 26th day after the menstrual period.
