symptom:

The main symptom of cervical erosion is increased vaginal discharge, which is often purulent. There may be pain in the lower abdomen and lumbosacral area and bladder irritation symptoms; patients with more severe erosions may have varying degrees of pale bloody secretions, typically after sexual intercourse.

Mild cervical erosion can be treated with medication and local use of suppositories such as Xiaomi suppositories and Zhimi Ling suppositories. Physical treatment is recommended for moderate to severe cervical erosion, such as microwave, freezing, laser, high-frequency radio wave knife and focused ultrasound, all of which have good therapeutic effects. After the operation, you should pay attention to changing underwear frequently to keep the local area clean and dry. If the bleeding time is long, you can take vitamin K and stop the blood flow to stop the bleeding. The wound usually takes 2-4 weeks to heal. During this period, you should be careful not to rinse with hot water or sit in the bath, and sexual intercourse is prohibited.

treat:

(1) Drug treatment: suitable for patients with smaller erosion area and shallower inflammatory infiltration. Antibiotics can be used for local application, such as metronidazole, sulfonamides, furazolidone, etc. Traditional Chinese medicine is widely used in the clinical treatment of cervical erosion, and the effect is also good. Some proven prescriptions and formulas are often selected, processed into powders or suppositories, placed on cotton balls, and applied to the eroded surface. Generally, the medicine is applied twice a week. During the treatment, there will be more yellow vaginal discharge, but there should be no odor. Treatment usually starts after the menstruation is over, and the medicine is applied continuously for one month and discontinued during the menstrual period.

(2) Physical therapy: It is a widely used treatment method with the advantages of short treatment course and good efficacy. It is suitable for patients with larger erosion area and deeper inflammatory infiltration. Commonly used methods include electric ironing, laser therapy, and cryotherapy. Electric ironing should be performed within 3 to 7 days after the menstruation is over. During treatment, place the iron head in contact with the eroded surface and apply slight pressure, moving it from the inside to the outside and back and forth until it slightly exceeds the eroded surface.
