The amount of menstrual flow will increase on the second day. Drinking it continuously for one or two days will generally end your menstruation. However, drinking brown sugar water during your menstrual period can help discharge menstrual blood and may shorten the number of days of your menstrual period.

The simplest way to delay menstruation is to take progesterone orally. Progesterone has a huge impact on the body, so you should not take it unless it is necessary. If you need to take progesterone orally to delay menstruation, you should start taking it one week before your period. If the time before taking it is less than one week away from the correct menstruation, we recommend that you use the injection method.

Because oral administration may not achieve the desired effect. Generally speaking, if you want to regulate menstruation by taking progesterone orally, you should take it before going to bed. Because progesterone has certain side effects, many people will experience obvious symptoms such as dizziness and nausea after taking it.

Using birth control pills is also a method chosen by many people to help delay menstruation. And the effect of this method is quite obvious. Generally speaking, you should start taking the medicine one week before your period and continue taking it until you think your period will come normally. This period of time is generally longer.
