What does it mean to have two cysts on the ovaries?

The ovaries are a major reproductive organ of women. They are called ovaries because they are where eggs are produced, so they are very important to women. However, there are some women in life who always do things that are harmful to their ovaries, such as smoking, drinking, and so on, which results in their ovaries suffering from some diseases. So, what is the clinical diagnosis of having two ovarian cysts?

It is a syndrome caused by dysfunction of the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis, which destroys the mutual dependence and regulation, resulting in the ovaries being unable to ovulate for a long time. Some ovarian cysts with endocrine functions may produce certain corresponding hormones due to the different tumor tissue components they contain, thereby interfering with the normal secretion of ovarian hormones and ovulation, resulting in symptoms such as amenorrhea, uterine bleeding, hirsutism and infertility. Some malignant or huge ovarian tumors destroy most of the ovarian tissue, which may cause ovarian dysfunction, anovulation, adhesion to surrounding tissues, and blockage of the fallopian tubes, all of which can cause infertility.

harm

1. The ovaries are the place where eggs develop, mature and are discharged. If cysts occur in the ovaries, the diseased parts lose the function of developing, maturing and discharging eggs, leading to infertility.

2. Certain ovarian cysts with endocrine functions can produce certain corresponding hormones, interfering with the normal secretion of ovarian hormones and ovulation, resulting in infertility.

3. The occurrence of ovarian cysts is related to high-cholesterol diet, ionizing radiation, and chemical damage, and these adverse factors are also factors that cause infertility. Under the same damage, patients may develop two symptoms.

4. Those with larger ovarian cysts have a higher rate of infertility, and those with bilateral cysts have a higher rate of infertility. This is believed to be because the ovaries have more and larger lesions, which have lost their effective function of follicle development and ovulation.
