Precautions for the seventh month of pregnancy

Precautions for the seventh month of pregnancy

There are many things that pregnant mothers need to pay attention to after pregnancy. There will be various changes in physical signs after pregnancy, which are different from before pregnancy. For example, many dangerous actions and activities should not be continued. During pregnancy, not only the pregnant woman needs to pay attention, but the father of the child should also be prepared during this period to welcome the arrival of the little life. So, what should you pay attention to during the seventh month of pregnancy?

Note:

1. Stretch marks: As you enter the late stages of pregnancy, you will notice more and more dark red stretch marks on your belly and breasts. You can continue to apply olive oil or stretch mark protection products to prevent stretch marks from getting deeper. Although stretch marks cannot be completely removed once they appear, they will gradually fade after 6 months after delivery. This is also a mark that testifies that you have become a mother.

2. Gestational diabetes screening: During this stage, you need to undergo a glucose tolerance test to screen for gestational diabetes. You need to fast for 10-14 hours before the test, which means you should not eat anything from dinner the day before to the early morning of the next day. You can drink a moderate amount of water.

3. Cramps in pregnant women: In the late pregnancy, you may often experience leg cramps. You should supplement with more calcium-rich foods, such as tofu, milk, etc. When calf cramps occur, you can ask the expectant father to help you gently massage the back of the calf from bottom to top, and then massage the big toe and the entire leg.

4. Prevent premature birth: In the late stage of pregnancy, if you are overly active, premature birth is likely to occur. If you experience symptoms of spotting accompanied by regular uterine contractions, persistent lower abdominal pain, lower back pain, warm water-like discharge from the vagina, and other abnormal conditions, you should go to the hospital for examination in time.

5. Detect fetal movement: After entering the late pregnancy, you may find that your baby's movements have become smaller. You don't need to worry, this is because the space for the fetus to move is getting smaller and smaller. At this time, you should pay attention to the number of fetal movements, not the strength of the fetal movements. Under normal circumstances, the average number of fetal movements in the morning, afternoon and evening is 5-10 times.
