Why haven’t I gotten pregnant in several months?

Pregnancy is the most important thing for newlyweds, because the elders are getting older day by day, and they all hope to have grandchildren as soon as possible, especially in rural areas. But I don’t know if it’s due to physical reasons or other reasons, but some young couples haven’t shown any signs of pregnancy for a long time, which makes the elderly particularly anxious and conflicts often arise. So, what should I do if I haven't gotten pregnant in a few months?

Conception is a complex physiological process that requires the following basic conditions: 1. The female's ovaries release normal mature eggs every month; 2. The male can ejaculate during intercourse, and the semen contains sperm of normal number, shape and vitality; 3. The female's fallopian tube is unobstructed, allowing the sperm and egg to meet and fertilize in the tube cavity; 4. The fertilized egg must be able to pass through the fallopian tube into the uterine cavity and be implanted in the endometrium.

Failure in any of the above links may cause infertility. There are many factors involved in the inability to get pregnant naturally, including factors on the female side, factors on the male side, or factors on both sides. It is recommended that both husband and wife go to a professional and regular hospital for examination.

How to eat to prepare for pregnancy

1. Avoid consuming trans fats, such as baked and fried foods, as the fats in these foods can clog blood vessels.

2. Eat more unsaturated vegetable oils, such as olive oil or canola oil.

3. Eat more plant protein, such as beans and nuts, and reduce animal protein.

4. Choose whole grains and complex carbohydrate sources as staple foods, because these foods are helpful in improving glucose tolerance and lowering postprandial blood sugar.

5. Drink a bottle of whole milk or whole-fat yogurt every day, and temporarily replace low-fat and fat-free dairy products with whole-fat ones.

6. Take multivitamin tablets containing folic acid and other B vitamins.

7. Get more iron from fruits, vegetables, beans or nutritional supplements rather than from red meat.

8. Water is the best drink. A small amount of coffee, tea and alcohol are also OK, but stay away from sugary carbonated drinks.
