Medical abortion without blood clots

Medical abortion without blood clots

The working principle of medical abortion is to inhibit the embryonic sac from absorbing nutrients, so that the embryonic sac can be separated from the uterus and eventually expelled from the body to achieve the effect of inducing labor. Therefore, women must observe whether they have discharged blood clots after taking the medicine, so as to determine whether their abortion is successful. If no blood clot is discharged from the body after medical abortion, it may mean that the induced labor has failed, so artificial abortion is still needed.

1. After medical abortion, the blood congestion in the embryonic tissue is washed away and becomes a small water bag, the size of a shrimp, and there will be tiny hairs near this small embryonic tissue, and these small hairs will float with the clean water. If you do not find this small water bag after the calf passes, or if there is no fluff floating around the small water bag, it means that the medicine has not been completely drained.

2. If the abdominal pain does not subside and the vaginal bleeding continues after the medical abortion, it is very likely that the medical abortion was not complete or there was no miscarriage at all. At this time, you should actively go to the hospital for examination. If the feces are not completely drained, you need to undergo a curettage.

3. In fact, under current conditions, the success rate of medical abortion is only about 95%, so it cannot be guaranteed to be 100% successful. Bleeding after medical abortion usually lasts about 1 to 3 weeks. If the bleeding time exceeds 1 to 3 weeks, it means that it is very likely an incomplete abortion. At this time, you can go to the hospital for an ultrasound examination to determine whether the abortion is complete.

Note:

Of course, continued bleeding after medical abortion does not necessarily mean that the bleeding is not completely gone. It may also be that the patient has blood coagulation disorder, which will lead to continuous bleeding and may even cause heavy bleeding. In this case, it is even more necessary to go to the hospital for examination, because if heavy bleeding occurs after medical abortion, the harm can be extremely terrible.
