What to do if you are pregnant with moderate inflammation of TCT

Moderate inflammation of TCT mainly refers to an inflammation found during liquid-based thin layer cell testing, which mainly refers to cervical erosion in women. Sometimes cervical erosion does not affect women's pregnancy. Of course, when this happens, pregnant women are often afraid that this inflammation will have adverse effects on the fetus. At this time, if they want to have a child, they should do a good job of prenatal examinations and strengthen good conditioning.

What to do if you are pregnant with moderate inflammation of TCT

Pregnancy is calculated from the last menstrual period. It is difficult to tell the exact time of conception. Pay attention to your diet and nutrition. Taking medication in this situation may affect the health of the fetus. If you plan to have a child, it is better to do a prenatal check-up.

What is TCT test

TCT examination is the abbreviation of liquid-based thin-layer cytology test. It uses a liquid-based thin-layer cytology detection system to detect cervical cells and perform cytological classification diagnosis. It is currently the most advanced cervical cancer cell cytology examination technology in the world. Compared with the traditional cervical scraping Pap smear examination, it has significantly improved the specimen satisfaction and the detection rate of abnormal cervical cells. The TCT cervical cancer cell examination has a detection rate of 100% for cervical cancer cells. It can also detect some precancerous lesions and microbial infections such as fungi, Trichomonas, viruses, and chlamydia. Therefore, TCT technology is the most advanced technology used in screening of cervical cancer in women.

Specific steps

1. Use TCT's special sampler to collect cervical cell samples.

2. Unlike conventional cell smears, the TCT examination involves placing the collector into a vial containing cell preservation fluid for rinsing.

3. When doing TCT examination, use a fully automatic cell detector to disperse and filter the sample to reduce the remnants of blood, mucus and inflammatory tissue.

4. Microscopic detection and diagnosis during TCT examination.

Precautions

For women who want to do TCT examination, the following issues need to be noted:

1. Avoid sexual intercourse 24 hours before TCT examination; 2. Do not flush the vagina or use vaginal suppositories, or perform vaginal examination within 24-48 hours before TCT examination; 3. If there is inflammation, treat it first, and then do TCT examination to avoid affecting the diagnosis results; 4. TCT examination is best scheduled during the non-menstrual period.

Self-healing

The healing process of cervical erosion is generally divided into two forms. One is that the squamous epithelium near the erosion surface grows under the columnar epithelium covering the erosion surface, gradually pushing the columnar epithelium, and finally completely replacing the columnar epithelium to cover the entire erosion surface. This is a form of direct coverage by squamous epithelium; the other form is indirect replacement.

Under normal circumstances, there is a small number of round cells under the columnar epithelium, called reserve cells. These cells have a certain ability to proliferate and differentiate. These reserve cells continue to proliferate and differentiate into squamous epithelial cells, replacing columnar epithelial cells to cover the entire erosion surface, allowing the erosion surface to be re-covered by squamous epithelium and heal. During the healing process, the newly formed squamous epithelium is often scattered in flakes or runs in cords on the eroded surface. Because this new squamous epithelium grows on tissue with inflammatory changes, it is very easy to fall off. Once stimulated, erosion will reappear. The repeated occurrence of repair and shedding is the reason why erosion is difficult to heal.
