Is a fast fetal heart rate due to vitamin C deficiency?

Is a fast fetal heart rate due to vitamin C deficiency?

The heart rate of the fetus is called the fetal heart rate, which is much higher than that of an adult. If the fetal heart rate is relatively fast, some people suspect that it is due to a lack of nutrients such as vitamin C. Generally, if the lack of vitamin C is not very serious, the impact on the fetal heart rate is not great. When the fetus is deprived of oxygen, the fetal heart rate will increase significantly. Let's take a closer look at the reasons why the fetal heart rate increases.

The normal range of fetal heart rate is 120-160. A fetal heart rate that is continuously lower than 120 or higher than 160 indicates fetal intrauterine hypoxia. If the fetal heart rate remains above 160 and is not discovered, fetal intrauterine hypoxia will gradually worsen and even intrauterine fetal death may occur. If the pregnancy is not full-term, the newborn may suffer from adverse consequences such as asphyxia, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, and cerebral palsy. The size of the fetus is basically consistent with the corresponding gestational age and is not too small.

It is recommended to inhale oxygen regularly and self-test fetal movements every day, counting for one hour at fixed times in the morning, noon and evening. If it is more than three times per hour, it reflects that the fetus is in good condition. You can also multiply the sum of the number of fetal movements in the morning, afternoon, and evening by 4, which is the number of fetal movements in 12 hours. If the fetal movement reaches more than 30 times in 12 hours, it reflects that the fetus is in good condition. If it is less than 20 times, it means that the fetus is abnormal. If the fetal movement is less than 10 times, it indicates fetal intrauterine hypoxia.

Fetal hypoxia during pregnancy causes an increased heart rate. In this case, as long as the rapid fetal heart rate is corrected in time, no fetal abnormalities will occur. In your case, the abnormal fetal heart rate is caused by lack of oxygen. In this case, it is recommended that you inhale oxygen regularly, twice a day, 30 minutes each time. This can greatly improve the fetal hypoxia and avoid adverse effects. In addition, you need to observe fetal movements, drink plenty of water, and check frequently. That's all. Conduct regular check-ups and closely monitor the fetal condition. If it is caused by intrauterine hypoxia, oxygen inhalation is needed in time to relieve the symptoms. If it is caused by the fetus's own development, it can only be clearly examined after birth. If it is caused by the mother's own illness, the condition needs to be controlled in time.
