Anti-inflammatory medication before egg retrieval

Drilling egg retrieval is an egg retrieval surgery. The eggs can be taken out through the ovaries and immediately frozen and injected with sperm to achieve the effect of in vitro fertilization. It is more suitable for some infertile couples to achieve the effect of treatment. However, there are certain risks and harm to the body when retrieving eggs. Whether anti-inflammatory drugs can be used for egg retrieval depends on the process of egg retrieval.

Egg retrieval through ovulation, a type of egg retrieval surgery, does not actually require surgery. It involves inserting a tube through the vagina, passing it to the ovaries, taking out the eggs, and freezing them immediately. After the eggs are retrieved, artificial methods are used to fertilize the eggs and sperm in vitro and undergo early embryo development before being implanted into the female client or surrogate.

Drilling holes to retrieve eggs and donating eggs for profit is currently a gray industry. It is illegal in China and is mostly carried out underground.

Currently, there are indeed about 10% of women suffering from infertility, but most of them can be treated with medication or surgery. Only a few really need in vitro fertilization or even need others to donate eggs. In 2004, the First Affiliated Hospital of Peking University tried to establish an egg bank experimentally, but the attempt was stopped due to the lack of egg donors and the immature egg freezing technology.

Some experts also believe that there are ethical issues with egg banks. At present, there is a lack of complete laws, regulations and systematic management in this regard, and the country urgently needs to make up for it. Under current laws and regulations, individuals and organizations specializing in egg donation are suspected of operating illegally. If eggs are regarded as human organs, this black market for eggs may also constitute the crime of selling human organs.

The hole refers to the vagina. Making a hole to retrieve eggs is just to insert a tube into the vagina, pass it to the ovary during ovulation, and then take out the eggs. The term drilling is just a media gimmick.
