Is it normal to delay your period by a week?

1. Is it normal to delay menstruation by one week?

The normal menstrual cycle of a woman is generally 21-35 days, with an average of 28 days. About 7 days earlier or later is still within the normal range, and the length of the cycle varies from person to person. What is delayed menstruation? If the menstruation comes more than 7 days later than the normal menstrual cycle, it is delayed menstruation. 1. Qi stagnation type delayed menstruation

Menstrual symptoms: delayed menstruation, scanty menstrual flow, normal color or dark red with clots, and poor discharge.

Systemic symptoms: depression, or lower abdominal distension and pain, or breast distension, chest and flank pain, slightly dark tongue, or thin yellow tongue coating.

2. Delayed menstruation due to phlegm obstruction

Menstrual symptoms: delayed menstruation, light-colored and mucous menstrual fluid, and excessive vaginal discharge before and after menstruation.

Systemic symptoms: obesity, dizziness, palpitations, abdominal distension, nausea, cough with lots of sputum, poor appetite and eating less, fat tongue with teeth marks, and greasy white tongue coating.

3. Delayed menstruation due to blood deficiency

Menstrual symptoms: delayed, scanty, light in color, thin in consistency

Systemic symptoms: Pale or pale complexion, dizziness, palpitations and insomnia, even dull pain in the lower abdomen, which lasts for a long time and is prone to massage, pale lips and tongue, and a thin white coating.

4. Kidney deficiency type delayed menstruation

Menstrual symptoms: delayed menstruation, scanty and thin menstrual flow, dark or dark color menstrual blood.

Systemic symptoms: lumbar and sacral pain, frequent urination at night, excessive leucorrhea with thin and light color, or dizziness and tinnitus, pale tongue and thin white fur.
