Blood in the chest

Blood in the chest

Diseases that women are prone to often include gynecological problems or breast disease symptoms. For women, changes in the breasts are very important because once inflammation occurs, diseases such as breast cancer can occur. However, with the current level of medical science, cancer is incurable. Therefore, women must always pay attention to changes in their breasts. Some people may find blood in their chest during an examination. This is actually a kind of change and must be taken seriously. What's the matter with bloodshot in chest?

1. Breast changes

Most breast lumps are not a sign of cancer, but you should be aware of them if:

Dimpling or wrinkling of the skin;

· Nipple retraction;

Nipple discharge;

· redness or scaling of the nipple or breast skin;

In order to find out the cause of these symptoms, you can go to the hospital for examination. The doctor may recommend a biopsy to remove a small part of the diseased tissue through puncture and other methods for pathological examination.

2. Abdominal distension

During menstruation, many girls will feel bloated. Professor Carrie Smith at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago believes that the problem arises because of cyclical changes in hormones. Most women experience abdominal bloating regularly once a month, but this bloating is physiological and not a sign of disease.

If the bloating does not go away after 1 to 2 weeks, you should be alert. Dr. Marleen Meyers, of NYU Langone Medical Center, said that if you have persistent bloating and weight loss, you should see your doctor. This type of bloating may be a sign of cancer, including breast cancer, colon cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, or pancreatic cancer.

3. Weight loss

Girls all hope to lose weight easily, but if you lose 10 pounds (10 pounds is about 4.5 kg) without adjusting your diet or exercising, there may be something wrong with your body.

Dr. Meyers says unplanned weight loss could be due to your emotions (like depression after a breakup) or a problem with your thyroid. But it can also be a sign of pancreatic, stomach, and lung cancer.

4. Blood in urine or stool

Blood in the stool is not what is commonly known as "getting angry". Dr. Marleen Meyers said that if the stool continues to contain blood for more than 1 to 2 days, you need to see a doctor for a check-up.

Bright red blood in the stool is usually a sign of hemorrhoids, but blood in the stool accompanied by pus can also be a precursor to colon or rectal cancer.

Herbert Lepor, a urologist at NYU Langone Medical Center, said that not only can bloody stools indicate cancer, but bloody urine is often the first sign of bladder or kidney cancer.

5. Changes in skin moles

Skin cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors among white people. However, Chinese people have more pigments in their skin, which provides better protection against ultraviolet rays. Therefore, malignant skin cancer is relatively rare in China.

When moles or birthmarks on the skin change in size, shape, or color, these are common signs of skin cancer and should be checked by a doctor promptly.

6. Swollen lymph nodes (feel like a lump)

Lymph nodes, which are distributed throughout the human body, are an important immune organ. When you feel round, oval or cord-like nodules under the skin, it may be that the lymph nodes are swollen. Normal lymph nodes are generally not painful to the touch, but when they are enlarged, they may be tender.

Most cases of swollen lymph nodes are due to infection, but some cancers, including leukemia and lymphoma, can also cause it. If you feel a lump in your body while bathing, you should seek medical attention immediately.

7. Non-menstrual bleeding

This month's period has passed, but I am bleeding again. What's going on?

If it is non-menstrual bleeding, or vaginal bleeding occurs in postmenopausal women, it may be a sign of disease. Vaginal inflammation and injury, endometrial cancer, etc. can all cause bleeding. You should go to the hospital for examination in time.
