Why does a woman have a stomachache after having sex?

Sex is a very important thing for both husband and wife. If the sex life is harmonious, it will not only promote the relationship between husband and wife, but also have a certain promoting effect on the physical and mental health of the human body. Generally speaking, sex can make people feel pleasurable, but some women may experience stomach pain after sex. What is the cause of this?

1. The occasional dull pain and discomfort in the genitals after sex is probably caused by sexual intercourse lasting too long or being too intense. Don't panic, just rest for a while and it will be fine. If the above symptoms occur after each sexual intercourse, the cause should be found out, timely treatment should be sought, and sexual intercourse should be suspended to avoid aggravating the condition and symptoms.

2. Influence of sexual life. Pelvic organs such as the uterine appendages and bladder are prone to displacement and pull on surrounding tissues, thus causing abdominal pain. However, most of them can be relieved and disappear on their own. During sexual intercourse, the man's excessive force and squeezing increase the woman's abdominal pressure, affecting the intestinal movement and sometimes reverse peristalsis. It can also manifest as paroxysmal abdominal pain. A little effort will improve it.

3. When women suffer from vulvitis or vaginitis, they often feel pain during sexual intercourse, which is more obvious after the end. This requires immediate check-up at the hospital. There is inflammation in these parts, and there is usually local congestion and swelling. During sexual intercourse, the local congestion becomes more severe. Mechanical stimulation during sexual intercourse and strong contraction of the vaginal muscles during orgasm can aggravate the pain and discomfort in the genitals.

4. Cervicitis or cervical erosion. Under direct stimulation from sexual intercourse, especially the contraction of the uterine cervix during orgasm, can lead to persistent discomfort in the genitals afterwards, and sometimes a small amount of vaginal bleeding. You should have a thorough check-up afterwards. Sexual intercourse has already given you a reminder.

5. When there is urethritis or inflammation of the urethra, sexual intercourse will cause local irritation. As the perineal muscles contract, the muscles around the urethra and perineum also contract synergistically, and spasmodic dull pain and discomfort will reappear for a period of time after intercourse. In most cases, just drink more water and you will be fine. If the pain persists, it is recommended to go to the hospital and take some anti-inflammatory drugs.
